34:44 Nobody ever mentions this, but I think this scene was supposed to reference Aang and Zuko's fight on the ship in episode 2...? Except there, Zuko KNEW Aang was behind him, and couldn't hit him not because he didn't see him, but because Aang was too fast in evading as an airbender! I can't understand WHY they would change that!!
Can you do a reaction to Nostalgia Critic's Top 11 Avatar Episodes Two-parter? The first one is Top 11 Worst and the second Top 11 Best. Would be cool.
You guys have got to watch more nostalgia critic, the guy is hilarious, especially his review of The Wicker Man, it doesn't matter if you haven't seen it, you'll love the review
Love how in this he didn't want to kill any of the fire nation soldiers in the North and by the end of the movie he kinda does kill them but doesn't care whereas in the show he was less troubled about killing them and more about simply beating that huge army of them but he beats them after going avatar state probably killing a lot in the process but by that point both him and the ocean spirit were way to angry to care but afterwards we see aangs is genuinely horrified by what he did as shown at the beginning of book earth.
Also in the show sang and the ocean spirit only stopped massacring the fire nation simply because the moon spirit came back but in the movie it's implied that sang A, didn't care much about spirits at all despite being a monk and B, that he seems to be able to already control the avatar state which is beyond dumb
@@loganbrown7743 THat is true, You can tell that Nicola Peltz narrates literally most of the film and its just like blah blah. Most of the times it feels like I am watching a documentary.
I enjoyed his review when it first came out. he ripped this movie a new one! The Critic pretty much knows his stuff or at least in the case of this POS movie.
If someone does book 2 they can pass off the Shamylan movie as Ember Island Players because the Fire Nation had the only good performances. And they would only play themselves well.
27:30 To be honest, I know there's going to be an Avatar: The last Airbender Netflix series, in the hands of the original directors. If they make this scene happen, I'm going to laugh so hard 😂😂
I recommend that you guys watch his reaction video of Dragon Ball Evolution. It’s one of his best and most entertaining in my opinion. I’m glad that you mentioned Office Space. I freaking love that Mike Judge movie!
if you like Avatar the last airbender as much as you seem check out Film Theory's avatar video about how bending is potentially possible (Avatar and the science of water bending)
The good thing is the live action series that's coming out soon at least looks like it's being made by people who look like they know what they're doing. We can all agree it'll be nowhere near as bad as this movie
There's really NOTHING enjoyable in this remake. The action is lame and makes no sense (The fire benders in the show could make fire appears from nothing and here they are obligated to use it from torchs... that's so dumb! The Earth benders too, all they can do is make tiyn rocks flying and mud walls... how magical XS) Katara and Sokka are boring, she isn't strong or kind anymore and he's always angry; Aang has no charm, cuteness or humor; his emotions are completely gone. The fire lord is a joke, not intimidating at all and not strong or important either despite being THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THE MOVIE, the effects and music are ok but that's it! The rest is awful!
another way this movie failed to be a adaptation, they literally change how fire bending works, in the movie literally go back and watch and you can see all the firebending is done by fire that is there, they CAN'T create it from their body like they did in the show, so one of the most dangerous and powerful forms of bending turned into the weakest by far, because air exists everywhere, water exists everywhere and earth exists everywhere but the fire nation are somehow winning a war using campfires and torches.
AND i think the only time we see real fire bending in the movie is when they kill the moon spirit, pretty sure that for some reason allows them to now bend fire using themselves?. idk that was always confusing
The identity, who gives a shit. It's not as important as explaining, and explaining, and explaining, and explaining and.....I DON'T F......KING CARE!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shayamalan is a decent director, but is a terrible writer. The dialogue is terrible, it's all information, no humanity; and why is Katara narrating? The show had no narration
I thought this was going to be a video where they laughed at how awful the effects are and how cringey the jokes are in NC's video, then I realized these guys are serious? Like wtf?
