The newest series on my channel goes into the next round, as you can expect, the other generations will be featured in future playlists.
But for now enjoy the pure buty of Sinnoh, the Pokemon generation that I (as long as I can remember) would consider as my first ever contact to Pokemon in my life. That's why most of the Ost's hit really hard and I think that many can relate to that. It's so interesting how much this takes me back. I remember playing these games when I was around 7 or 8 years old in my old neighborhood with the other kids... we could just sit next to each other with our DS systems and play our own game all day, talking about it, our newest catch, what gym leader we were battling. Then Black and White came out and we all got them on release day and played nonstop. It was just so simple, playing Pokemon games with childhood friends after school until dinner time. Is it bad that I'm tearing up at the memory? I'm 20 years old now. I'm studying music, and just recently won a position with a professional orchestra, and have been teaching quite a bit as well. I went through a suicidal bit during quarantine. A girl I was dating for two years broke up with me a couple months ago. My parents are old and frankly don't have much time left with them. Life has been good to me, but it's also overwhelming at times. It's so oddly relaxing yet simultaneously emotional to sit here and listen to this, reminiscing of simpler times where the only thing going on in my life was whatever new Pokemon I caught so I could flex on my friends lol. I moved away from that neighborhood when I was about ten years old. I don't hear from those old friends much. I wonder how they're doing...

Man's condition of sin as told in The Book Of Isaiah hundreds of years before Jesus Christ was on The Earth: Isaiah 53:6 (KJV): All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Not just people who are "bad people". All people who have sinned against God, which is every one of us. (Myself and all mankind included) Yet, we are not without hope. Jesus Christ, who was promised long before His coming, lived a perfectly sinless life, and God gave Him the punishment we deserve, as He bore our sins on the cross and died in our place. He perfectly obeyed God in all ways and therefore could die in our place. God's wrath toward us and our sin, was outpoured onto Jesus Christ. By faith in His sinless death and resurrection being a just substitution on our behalf, we have the righteousness (sinlessness) of Jesus Christ accredited (given) to us. God satisfies justice as He pours out His just punishment and wrath which was directed towards us and our sin, onto His son, Jesus Christ, who had no sin in Himself. Through faith in Jesus Christ, that He alone can offer us forgiveness, we receive His righteousness, and have eternal life. Isaiah 53:9-11 (KJV): And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. The above verses speak of Jesus Christ, His sinless life, Him bearing our sins on His behalf, and Him dying and resurrecting. All of this was to justify us toward God, through faith in His sinless death, burial, and resurrection being sufficient to justify us from our sins before God. We have nothing to offer God through good works or personal morality. These can not make us right before God. Rather, faith in the perfection of Jesus Christ and in His work on the cross is what grants us eternal life and forgiveness of sins. We broke God's law, Jesus "paid the fine". Acknowledge and understand your own sin and helplessness due to your imperfection, and trust in Jesus Christ, that He will justify you through His perfect life where he took our punishment. My Pokemon journey was a complete accident. My grandma found a copy of Pokemon Pearl on the ground of the Cincinnati Zoo, and without knowing much about DS games she mailed it to me (states away) in 4th ish grade. I would play what I could at home and the boys in my class would take home my cartridge and help me beat parts I couldn't figure out :) I had only ever seen Pokemon cards before and did not know much about it at all, and from then on I was hooked, I got every game preordered. Pokemon has become such a huge part of my life and soul and the music is so deeply calming and it brings me back to much simpler times. I'm in my mid 20's going through college now, and this mix has been keeping me afloat. It's the best! Keep up the amazing work Supprex

Mine was coincidental too. When I was 6 I met this french kid on a train in Germany. He saw me playing this avatar the last airbender game on my DS, came over to me and my mom, and fished out his own DS to show me this new banger of a game called Pokemon Diamond. I was extremely intrigued by the design and world of this game, and he loved avatar, so we ended up trading cartridges. To this day I have this french kids Diamond cartridge with 2000+ hours of my own time +200 hours of his. I wonder if he still has mine.

The music of DPPt really helped make Sinnoh feel like a real region. Quiet coziness early on, evolving into immense grandure as you complete your journey. I started with Kanto and put the most hours into Hoenn but Sinnoh will always feel like home to me

I won't lie, my childhood was shit but playing platinum really helped me hold it together, even thought i don't remember much of the game. Somehow I still remember the music perfectly. I still have the cartridge, with my 600 hour save file intact. It was my whole introduction to pokemon too. lol

Man, same here. My older brother and I always got the opposite versions, except Platinum. I believe it was the first game we each had, but I was too young to remember much. To this day, I can't remember if my first game was Platinum or Black, but I love both so much. Some of my best memories from my childhood are just my brother and I battling each other or playing together, mostly in Heart Gold and Soul Silver

I’ve played gold, sapphire, leaf green, but man when I played diamond with my brother for the first time it was amazing. We took our ds everywhere we went because we were just so intrigued by the new maps, new Pokémon, new music, everything about it was sensational. Easily one of the best games made. Will forever miss those times as a kid, I hope my daughter will grow up and have a Pokémon game that has a lasting impact like it did with us.

Pokemon OSTs are worth listening to no matter what gen you started. I discovered pokemon when I was about to enter preschool in 2001 thanks to the anime and gameboy releases, but I got hooked with Pearl around in 2008 when I had my first DS as a gift. I remembered looking forward finishing classes to go home and cook more poffins to my buddy empoleon. Now as a tired adult in twenties, I am glad to listen to these nostalgic pieces that give me a sense of peace from daily struggles. I just imagined my pokemon buddies were cheering by my side to never give up during these hard times.

Whenever i listen to these tracks, its probably the closest thing to a time machine. Takes me back to 2007 2008 as a 6th and 7th grader....gen 4 is my favorite when it comes to the soundtracks. Man I remember back in 2009 school was out one weekday and both my parents had to work so they had me stay at a neighborhood parent’s house. This sends me back to the nights I’d be playing this late into the night while hiding under my covers and pretending to be asleep whenever my mom came in to check up on me. Easier times. Pokemon still brings me the same comfort, even nearly 15 years later. Even before gen 4, Pokemon was in my life- since the day I was born quite literally. But this was the first generation where the game wasn’t a handed down and already-played copy from an older gen- this was the first one that was mine. I don’t remember much about my team since that DS was lost many years ago, but I hope Bubbles the Empoleon and my Swellow that I’ve forgotten the name of are both doing well wherever they may be.

Ive been a huge Pokénerd since I was a kid. Had lots of trading cards and plushies lol. Pokémon Platnium was the first Pokémon game I'd played when I was 8 years old. Sinoh will always have a very, very special place in my heart 🥰

I miss a time in which I wasnt too happy. I was just a lonely kid with no friends with a nintendo ds crying when I got excluded by my classmates. But looking back and relistening to these songs, I feel so sad that time passed. Is that how nostalgia works?

Gen 4 was the game i first made it into the top 10 worldwide i am so thankfull for that experience. I never followed my talents cause i refused to play tournaments but im glad i was up there competing with the best. Some of those battles live in me forever and make me who i am now. ❤

I still remember the end of spring days, coming home from elementary school, going straight to my room, jumping on my bed with the warm afternoon sun shining on it, and booting up my DSi to play some Pokémon Platinum that my neighbor gave to me. Simpler times 😢

all these songs remind me of when I realized I needed to get my act together and be the man everyone already expected me to be, these songs remind me of how my inner child succumbed to social guillotine and I had to butcher that young boy to become the man that I am right now, focused and collected, mindful of others and respectful. back then, I was going through a break up, the most important breakup of my life and these songs soften me up and caressed my soul long enough for me to endure the pain of going through something as traumatic as the break up of a loved one. I dont miss those times, I miss myself been so innocent and free of the pains life has put me through, this is what nostalgia represents for me.

Gen 4 is the best generation of Pokemon. Pokédex was at an all time best with new evolutions of old gen Pokémon and the whole Sinnoh region felt like a grand adventure. Gen 4 has the best music as well.
