We never know what to expect from your vlogs. A narrowboat channel unlike the others , well deserving of your sub count. Happy to see the operation was a success , as a minor woodworker , if tragedy should strike again I suggest two small dowels , should do the trick. It's the "Well done mommy" moments that got me emotional as my kids grew up. If we actually had "Harry Potter" video/photo albums that moment would be on page one.

I know that look on Jo's face when she saw her book for the first time. I've worn that same expression a few times, myself. When you see your own book for the first time, it somehow seems more real than it did when you were working on it. Just wait until she sees a copy in a bookstore for the first time. That's an "OMG!" moment, too. Next up is the first time someone asks you for an autograph, in person. Those moments make all the work worthwhile. Congratulations, Jo!

It’s a witty and heartwarming episode and I loved the “you could lose yourself…” reveries. The music is well-chosen and the flow of the storytelling couldn’t be better.
What a lovely video. I especially loved the hospital scene. You are so creative. Those little stops along the wat on your run, were just breath taking. Such pretty flowers and the soft sound of the creek, so peaceful. I was so happy to see Jo's face as she viewed her cookbook for the first time. I hope she is as proud of herself as we are of her. This video is wonderful! I've watched it several times and it makes me smile every time. William is absolutely adorable. A few days ago I ordered a Holly The Cafe Boat mug and it arrived yesterday in perfect condition. I've had my morning cuppa in it and LOVE it. Thank you so much! The best 20 minutes I've spent today... Vic made me laugh like a loon with the shaky hand 'surgery', William made my eyes wet with the "Well done, Mummy" and on top of all that, the cook book looks amazing, Jo. The coverage you get for these vlogs is incredible, but I suppose editors like coverage, don't they? ☺

Wow, I've watched this video three times now and I believe it may be your best one yet. Of course, the edit is fantastic but the shot planning is even better. You really are becoming a very good director and cinematographer. Getting a shot of the bus leaving before getting on so you can add it to the edit after you get on the bus is brilliant. The shot from the other side of the stream and the shot along the gunnels of Holly while loading the toilet into the canoe really reflect the care you put into these videos. And I love the use of archival footage as B roll. Well done, Victor.

A big difference to normal! Nice! Gave me a thought though, (not something a bloke should have), can we have a video that shows how many times you backtrack, or advance and return, when placing your camera? Just to see how much time it adds to your trips on the dry, solid bit of your world? AND, did I notice that Victor cleaned the interior of the canoe? Not saying anything, BUT, it did need a bit of TLC. All in all, a great "not normal" day video. Loved it.

Vic, I would suggest that the way you're doing your runs with breaks in between is the right way to do it. Perhaps a better way is just walk, reducing impact stress on your joints. Unless you're training for a marathon, running long distances can become anaerobic, reducing any benefits you're getting from it. With walking, you keep the exercise very aerobic, allowing a lot of oxygen to flow through your body, create human growth hormone, and have a much more beneficial experience.
