Yes!!!! It's one of my favorite songs ever, the entire album is great. I listened to it almost daily back when I was in High School (or maybe it was Middle School I forget) , which saying that makes me feel really old, I don't remember exactly when that album came out but I think it's been a long time.
The version with him and Adam Gontier is beyond perfection for so many reasons; beautiful, excellent singers who suffered from addiction, so they know firsthand, and they both recovered
If it wasn't for being his first time hearing it, I'd recommend the acoustic version of Give Me A Sign. I feel like the acoustic version is definitely better, although the regular CD version is absolutely amazing too.
Dance With the Devil is one of my favorites from them. Because you liked Stone Sour, I recommend Breaking Benjamin's Ashes of Eden, it's a more tender song, and it deals with Ben's religious doubts
It's so hard to pick a favorite by them. I hear one song and think, this is their best song. Then 2 songs later it's, no this is their best song. Such a great band.
The Release the Panic album is still my fave. I wouldn't say I live every album. Their 5th CD is my least favorite, aside from Darkest Part and Yours Again. The 6th album has some decent tunes too. More than likely, he'd have to watch "Death of Me", "Feed the Machine", "Release the Panic", and "The Evening Hate" in order.
Justin Hazlett the story in order would be feed the machine, release the panic, darkest part, and then the evening hate but he could listen to any song and it would be bomb
I really do think you'd like Black Veil Brides. I've struggled with a lot of stuff in my life, and because of that i basically dove myself into rock/metal music, because it was the only thing that helped me. Black Veil Brides were at the top of the list of bands that helped more than anything else. Theyre not for everyone, but I think they're phenomenal. If you react to a song, I recommend either "The Legacy" "Knives and pens" "perfect weapon" or "coffin"
Dude, been a fan for a while now, you're doing an awesome job. Please check out Fire and Fury by Skillet. It's a pretty slept on song that I have no idea how it didnt take off in main stream music. It illustrates both singers John and Jen beautifully.
Ben Burnley writes as a poet, hence all of his writing is figurative. He will never tell his fams what his songs mean because he wants you to gather your own meaning. The man is a genius.
I'm not a fan of Breaking Benjamin, so I wouldn't mind you visiting some other bands instead... like for example Draconian. I think you'd really enjoy them if you gave them a chance. :) Check out Draconian - Stellar Tombs or Draconian - Rivers Between Us for example!
The first time I heard this song, I had a very bad time at the internship I was in. I felt like the way my boss and I where acting towards each other was like a 'dance with the devil'. On one hand I needed a good grade, on the other hand I didn't need the abuse I got from him on the workfloor. That being said, for me this is one of the best Breaking Benjamin songs and I am so glad you reacted to it! Keep up the good work!
Another amazing song and the other amazing review short sweet and to the point..." that's what she said" that's probably why she hasn't called back either😳... LMAO🤘🤓
You've got my likve (as usual) BTW I was wondering what do you think of Here's To Us? I've really gotten into this song. I might even call it my new favourite song. :-D 😅😄😃😂
Love Breaking Benjamin so much, when it came to my teenage years, Breaking Benjamin and Alice in Chains were my saving graces when I was depressed. Can honestly say those two bands really helped to save my life. Dance With the Devil is one of my favorite songs of theirs, and they've performed it 2 of the 3 times I've seen them (at my first rock concert in 2007 with Three Days Grace/Chevelle/Breaking Benjamin/7 others [1 day rock festival], and more recently this summer when I saw BB/Chevelle/Three Days Grace).
See this is why I subscribed weeks ago when I first saw ur reactions to certain songs. U love the heavy stuff yet you are still down to earth to understand the feelings put behind the lyrics or the singers themselves... like chester bennington. You even put information to help people, but you rock out with the heavy songs and u are even surprised by some truly surprising things (like when u didnt know about skillets 2nd singer is the drummer.. and a girl). So ya. Great reaction. Good song. Breaking Benjamin is great too.
