Finally! someone actually made a graphics card heatsink design that actually has a good airflow passthrough (instead of having the air need to turn which makes it lose a lot of pressure en hence flowrate)

The 5600XT is actually an amazing card. Slightly faster than a 2060, but more power efficient than the 2060. Nvidia never saw that one coming...

Yup, assuming AMD fixes their drivers, there is absolutely no reason to buy a 1660S, 1660ti or 2060. This card makes them all irrelevant.

I've only ever owned Nvidia cards, but this is the first time I'm seriously considering AMD for my next upgrade because the 5600XT really is an amazing card. *And* it's more power efficient?? Holy shit, what timeline is this?

This card is really amazing! I had 2 5700xt, 1 5700 and 1 5600xt and the last one is really a bang for the buck; great perf, amazing cooling system (Pulse in my case), power efficient and less than a rtx 2060. Luckily I didn?t experience a lot of bugs but I can understand people wznt to stay with Nvidia... :(

I'm a Big Fan of Tech Yes City and also love the New Navi GPU such as the 5600 XT and the 5700 XT, I just wish there Drivers are better to run such great hardware.

Small error in video, Asrock DO NOT bin and validate any memory over its factory specified binning, memory binning and validation is incredibly complex and usually can only be done in dedicated memory producer. That being said, occasionally there will be card from AIB with additional memory binning, those are usually chips reserve for overclocking competitions.

I noticed the giant overhang on the cooler right away, and the first thing I wondered was - could you strap on a fan on the other side of that cooler and make a push pull configuration to maybe cool it even more :)

I've had a PowerColor Red Dragon 5600 XT that needed the VBIOS update. It ended up making the card run hot and artifact even after the corrected VBIOS came out where the fans would spin at a lower threshold. I ended up swapping it out for a Sapphire Pulse 5600 XT and it's been running cool and at higher clock speeds than offered on the PowerColor. The bonus was that the new VBIOS was already installed despite my purchasing both cards within 2 weeks of each other.

I'm in the US and I shop at a store called MicroCenter. Their prices are very competitive with the likes of Newegg and Amazon (they will price match if the item is sold directly from them). They ran out of the RTX 2060 KO and EVGA may have run out of KO stock.

Onya Brain keep up the great videos, RE the comment of the day, think it's totally fair and a good answer from you, but it is the algorithm treating channels that aren't main stream media unfavourably, but you do what you gotta do. Also more tech fast stuff would be interesting, at the mid range they seem almost impossible to part out a similar system even after adding a good case and psu, due to their coupons and sales

Hey Tech YES man, could you review the arctic accelero mono? Or just 3rd party GPU coolers in general? I feel like they're something amazing not a lot of people talk about. Especially the mono plus. I bought one for my 1060 6GB but never used it, and now that I see how tiny the 5600XT's board actually, maybe the mono plus would be a perfect fit on that 5600XT. One giant 120mm fan could make it the perfect mini GPU card for small cases, and hell, I could even throw an RGB 120mm fan on there for even more extra FPS

Why brands like asrock and gigabyte release the 5600 xt and 5700 (non-xt) with triple fan and instead msi and sapphire only dual fan version? Is really needed the triple fan on those cards for deafault usage or is it for people that want to overclock them heavily?

I tried to comment before. Just a Quickie. I got 100mbs broadband but when it connects to my PC wifi it's so slow. Seen many graphics card videos but not many videos on Best Wifi dongles are they adiquite. Etc Might be a 2.5 Ghz not 5 ghz new frequency usb 3.0 would it improve or not . Might be worth a video. If company send you free WiFi products to review compare. Thanks.

find it strange how tyc runs heaven in dx9 mode even tho he hasn't had a dx 9.0 only card on test ...since ever?.. also 5600 looks good to me has nearly X3 the capability that my r9 270 has and im still pleased as punch with my r9 270

Stress testing with unigine ancient benchmark is not the correct way to stress test ... Atleast use superposition extreme 1080p for modern hardware bran !

IMO these cards msrp is still too high after VAT, especially for cards who are not getting the new vbios. This higher end Asrock PGX is priced near €350, even some MSI cards have a daring €380+ price tag here. No wonder second hand market prices in EU are inflating again the past few months.

A 6 GB VRAM card is obsolete in 2020, the minimums in some VRAM heavy games are showing this clearly.

@@giuseppearpino8657 Watch some Hardware Unboxed testing on that matter, especially the 1% lows in recent games. Don't invest 300 EUR/US-$ today in a card which shows too much of a delta. Future games are not getting slimmer. Plus, I've been burned in the past, I got a 7850 with 1GB back in the day when 1 GB was "just enough" - the 2 GB version would have served me way better over time.

I wish the Phantom Gaming X RX 580 I got for $230 had a beefy cooler like that. The biggest problem with it is the cooling is just not sufficient. I even replaced the thermal paste, after a year of ownership it dried, with MX-4 and it still gets hotter than I'd like. I'm tempted to see if a graphite thermal pad might transfer the heat better. Do you have any experience with Asrock's Phantom Gaming X RX 580?

If it's up to 80°C, it's normal. Polaris are great heaters. My rx570 pulse does the same. Replaced the thermal paste to master gel nano and it's still hot.

@@amdrebataglia The thing is, I have never seen an RX 570 or 470 go over 70c in my experience, so that actually surprises me you have a 570 that hits 80. Though the only 570s/470s I've dealt with were all MSI and XFX cards. Might have something to do with it. Never really liked Sapphire myself after my first card from them would blackscreen under load.

I just installed this graphics card into my build and the fans won't spin, and in afterburner no matter what settings I put the fans at they still won't spin! I'll try to install their own software but I need some help!

@@techyescity Hey thanks for answering (big fan) I downloaded the ASRock OC software and fired up Modern warfare on the highest settings and after a few minutes of stress they kicked on! I guess it's on a very quiet fan curve automatically. Thanks so much for the great videos!!

Make sure you have the newest BIO’s on your motherboard. I had similar problems with a MSI motherboard and a BIO’s update fixed it.

lol , same here .. a 5700xt is cheaper than this card also. (like the MSI 5700xt). Most 5600xt cards here cost more than a RX5700, not sure what AMD is thinking, the MSRP is nowhere near the retailprice for this card.
