Not an Easy Choice! - Nothing Phone 2 vs OnePlus 11r 

Bought the 11R. Was a huge fan of OnePlus, until the 9 series came out (which was disappointing for me), and I was slowly losing my faith in OnePlus. But the 11 series is their redemption. Also was waiting excitedly for the Nothing Phone 2, but the pricing was way off than what was estimated of about 40K. The 11R is about 38-39K, and the Nothing is at 45K(excluding the charger, which will cost you around 2.5K), which according to me sits in a completely different category, and I don't think it's fair to compare it with the 11R.

What a detailed analysis on the features of the phones. I haven't seen anyone else do such a detailed comparison of two products. I would go OnePlus as IR blaster is a good feature to have. It becomes very easy to operate remote operated daily use electronics like tv, set top box, ac etc. and also OnePlus can offer more features possibilities within its eco system and Nothing phone has not yet developed its eco system like OnePlus.

Loved the effort you put in by downloading a more heavy game than the default ones to show real life performance on gaming, the details with which you review phones are really commendable. Whenever I want to buy anything,your video always help to take the final decision ❤❤

Eagerly Waited for nothing phone 2 but it's overpriced for base varient 45k plus adapter 2k so it's cost 47k for base varient definitely OnePlus 11r will be the good choice for us giving everything under 40k

As of now if you see from price perspective OnePlus 11r is better option. But comparing 11th generation phone of stable company with stable software exp, with 2nd generation phone of almost startup company, nothing is already winning game here. Btw I'm using Nothing Phone 1 since year, initially I also got frustrated but as Nothing got feedback of users and fixed bugs properly, now experience is very smooth.

@sanjit bhai pls advise apart from S23 ultra and s22 ultra which is the other Samsung phone which is best in every angle

Very genuine explanation, recently I purchased nothing 2 and seriously screen videos feels somewhat dim type to me, something is weird I can't explain in very detail but some software fix is needed I think

For me it's phone 2. The only reason is software. Better experience better update cycles. But more importantly they listen to the customer needs and make changes accordingly. I'm writing this from phone 1.

I could highly relate when he said "functionality se zyada emotions over power kar jati hai" at 2:45 . I'll explain further - I was very sure to buy the nothing phone 1 as it felt the best all rounder at around 30K . Looks ,design language, battery , processor etc. everything was great at that price point . For some reason I had to wait before buying the Nothing phone 1 and I casually started searching about Oneplus 11R and guess what, I bought the 11R instead of Nothing phone 1 because my budget was flexible and I personally loved how it felt in hand at the Oneplus experience store . But later after a month when I saw my brother's Nothing phone 1 , it's design language felt a little bit more attractive that any other thing as compared to 11R .But again when I see the 11R , I feel more attracted to it's overall specs like 8+ gen 1 , the IMX890 , beautiful curved display,100W fast charging, Dual dolby stereo speakers and THE HAPTICS as Sanchit Bhai said ... So the design langauge of Nothing is actually over powering the emotions than the functionality.

Hey sanchit just wanted to ask i have a budget of 40k and i was confused between this too but at th. Same time i found that Xiaomi 12 pro is available at 42k so how's that compared to this phones.

I am not too sure, Sanchit... I think if possible, you should try to arrange some other unit of OP 11r and test the camera once again because I have seen many other reviews where OP performs better than Nothing 2 in camera department as well.. Anyways, great video as usual ❤

Got the nothing phone 2 after watching this video, Used to have a Oneplus before, but the camera issues mentioned in the video were present in my Oneplus 7t too, it's very irritating honestly, the Android 12 update I received was buggy, no update to fix anything, it wasn't even optimized well, the fonts were all over the place. The current oxygen os has no similarity to the OG skin people love, it's just a rebadged color OS with minimal bloatware. Nothing OS seemed like a breath of fresh air. Personally, I found the essential Glyph feature very useful, and no regrets for now. Also for the pricing, the difference is 5k for similarly specced devices, but Nothing has card discounts from popular banks (3k for axis debit and credit) and it reduces the gap to 2k, for that amount it's worth the price bump.

Every one is taking about Green line issue...I think it's for old phone yr 20-21. But for a new company like np is it better to go with more value 5-7k. Right now? Kindly guide with opinions.

I started my 1st flagship journey from OnePlus 5, then 7 pro and finally 9, the one thing that made me loose interest from OnePlus is collaboration with oppo. I started to feel the lack of minimalistic ui with loads of tweeks. So I finally choose to switch from OnePlus to nothing phone 2, and I'm feeling good. Let's see what happens next.

NOTHING 2 Pros: Unique design, metal frame , better camera , interesting UI, glyph interface, wireless charging Nd reverse charging, potential to improve with future software upgrade . Cons : Underclocked Processor , no Charger in box, slightly overpriced , few users reporting water leakage at back panel, less number of service centres. One plus 11R Pros : Cuved display , better performance , bigger battery with in box charger , tested oxygen os , alert slider, IR blaster, more availability of service centres Cons : Green line issue is a big fear for potential buyers, avg camera performance , no mention of IP rating , polycarbonate frame, no wireless charging . Nothing got a smooth OS because the real Oxygen OS team is developing Nothing OS, whereas OppoPlus uses the visually less appealing Color OS and it has so many bugs. You don't even get OTA updates on time

As per price range. . 8/128 Nothing-45000/- Oneplus-40000/- 12/256- Nothing-50000/- 12/512 Nothing-55000/-. Oneplus 16/256 One plus -45000/- Slightly Nothing 2 is overpriced atleas 7/8k But as per price 1+ is awesome

For those who is looking for long term. I used one plus phone for almost 5 year, 7pro and 8 pro. The main issue i faced is, its volume and power button get damaged after 1 year. As a result they open back and loose its value.

Currently using 11R best experience overall. Great Mobile. People are complaining over a period of time, there will be pink or blue line.. It's all sorted & with new mobiles it's not seen... I recommend 11R...

I'll go with the legacy 11R, my points are, after sales service, service center availablity,ease of finding parts in local market, resale value/brand value, charging speed (I'm on site for most of the times), I do use my phone for heavy games so it's a no brainer for me. Box contents are cherry on top even if the score was a draw. OP😊

Nothing Phone 2 is better than OnePlus 11R, but is it worth the 8000 premium we pay for it? imo NO. 8000 includes charger case and screen protector.

You sort of get what you pay for: Neo 7 pro has 3 years of software and security updates with an independent gaming chip. 11r has 3 years of softare updates and 4 years of security updates. Nothing has a better wide angle camera than both, a unique design, less storage for the price, and compares with OP in terms of software and security support. Both, Nothing and OP have an unlocked bootloader which Iqoo does not.

Very good review and diplomatic conclusion. But for me money is a big parameter. See a good charger cost you Rs 1000+. So if you are spending 46k then I think nothing 2 is overpriced. You get better camera in S21FE soc888 version that cost 45-46k. For me OnePlus 11R is better choice.

Any day I will go for Oneplus 11r, bcz its value for money... Oneplus you can get for 40K without bank offers. But Nothing you get for 45K + 2.5K(Charger original) +500 (case)= 48K. So the difference 8K is huge... So 1+

Currently using OnePlus 11r . Everything is great on this 11r but only in camera section nothing can be a good choice. But if you want a hard core gaming under 39999rs And a 8+gen1 processor, 100watt chager - 5000mah battery, 120 hz oxygen os and many more thrn go for OnePlus. I think OnePlus under 40k giving us the features which ee need in our daily basis . Nothing 2 is taking 5k extra which in performance wise nd battery wise is not good at all . Baki apki choice >>>>>i prefer OnePlus 11r
