New Year, New Flag Video!
Wooden Flags are still all the rage! They come in multiple options such as rustic, traditional, Thin Line Series, and custom designs. Not only do they come in custom varieties but there is probably a "how to" video for each one! (Check out my channel for more)
There are plenty of methods to making these flags and everyone has their own ways. This video demonstrates how I make a mini rustic wooden flags with an AWESOME burned border!, all out of scrap wood! It shows one of my top selling items, especially at the fairs, and how you can make it to sell too, if you're trying to start your own flag business!

Dimensions (for this flag with the border)
19.5" Long
11" Wide
1.12" Tall
Without the border

Time:
-2 to 3 hours Including drying time
Tools (Used in video)
-Miter Saw - Dewalt 12”
-Table Saw - Craftsman 10”
-Router - Ryobi Router Table
-Chamfer Bit - Amazon (Cheap set that works great!)
-Brad Nailer - Ryobi 18ga and 16ga
-Sander - No sanding for this flag!
Supplies:
-Pine wood (Scrap)
-Glue - Titebond 2
-Brad nails - 5/8" for the braces, 1 1/4" for the frame
Stains and Finish
-Minwax Barn Red
-Minwax Navy
-Burned frame

I do my framing with 45 degrees looks great

amazing job.... ive made many and tried spray painting stars... no matter what ive done i always get blurry smeared stars.. so i just stopped and use stars i bought ..lol

nice job on the flag and i enjoy your videos. i like the rounded edges too and use them on all my flags no matter what size. i also put a frame around mine but i like the way you have that raised look. i think i'm going to copy your idea. i have one question for now... i noticed you don't put on any clear finish at the end of the project. do you find they sell better with out the finish?

Enjoyed your info video. What do you sell your standard R,W, & B flags for (19 1/2 X 37) I am thinking of going to gun shows to sell my flags. What are your thoughts on this idea? Thanks
