Legend 7 looks like a walking condom wrapped around your feet. Whilst 8 has appearance of a vapor with added leather. Long time vapor, now converted to tiempo 8, everything like a vapor, plus touch and comfort, hope feature Tiempo installment don't stray to much away from 8 appearance
Nike: everyone is expecting something big, let's get are best ideas pumped into the tiempo legend 8! Steve: what if we tried making a new soleplate with more aggressive traction to pave a way for new attacking defenders! Nike: We love it! Finally actual technology, no more gimmicks! Jerry: what if the bag had acc? Nike: WE LOVE IT! Jerry you're a genius you're being promoted. Steve you're fired!
I really like the colorway for this one. The silhouette looks a lot like the opus/ctr360 to me. I'm assuming a comparison with the cops 19+ is coming, but if it's not I would like to see that. Thanks Jeb!
Thanks for the honest opinion on the diamond texture. I'm done with Nike's gimmicks and really irritated that they've ruined a great pair of boots. I guess the Premier II's are still there.
Good thing I watched this video. I would have a regular to slim foot, my mercurial fit perfectly but these made me feel like I had really chunky mid-foot when I 1st put them on. It was just the Flyknit tunnel, got used to it fairly fast, it was just the initial try on
soubido I just bought the black and red yesterday but both look amazing. just like you, seeing not much improvement gives me a sense of relief for my purchase
hey jeff , you said that if i buy a sr4u laces my boots would stand out from other, what if my whole team watches u and bought sr4u laces, how do i know which is my boots
Hi Josh, which of the following boots do you think is the better performer in terms of touch and lockdown? - Legend 7 elite - Legend 8 elite - Copa 19.1 Looking forward to your answer. Greetings from Belgium
Flywire was just one element of the lockdown provided on the Legend 7, not the only thing holding your foot in place and providing structure. The lockdown on the 7 is better in the traditional sense, simply due to the upper being more structured. The difference between the two in regards to overall responsiveness is minimal though.
How elastic is the Flyknit tunnel? Will it be tight and restrictive for high arched, high volume feet or does it provide the same customization as a traditional tongue?
This feels less like the change for change’s sake than other boots that you’ve complained/commented on before. There are real changes that you’ve noticed
Honestly at first I looked at these I was like oh no they totally ruined the tiempo line, but as I saw them on feet and really took a look at them they aren’t that bad... still I like the 7s more.
If I wore a size 8.5 in past tiempo models because they usually fit a half size small should I order these in a size 8 (true to size) or 8.5 like previous models? For other reference I wear a size 8 in the phantomvenoms
Hey! Josh, I am thinking of getting leather boot. Adidas copa+, puma king , legend7 and legend 8 being my considerations. Which one do you recommend? Thanks!
It seems like it would be considered a great boot if it were a Magista Opus, but it just happens to be made of kangaroo leather instead of kangalite. Like if you didn’t have other preferences or expectations for leather boots it would be objectively very good
It would have been great just a Leather and Fly Tapes instead of Fly Cables construction. And no synthetic leather covering the rear Flyknit portion. I bet the next takedown will be the best of the new gen. Hopefully less structure.
i don't understand why tiempo 8 got so much hate. nike already has the premier for pure leather touch. ofcourse they'd equipped the tiempo 8 with as many technologies possible.
Do these have a sort of tight fit ?.. I can’t decide in between the legends, ghosted.1, copa 20+, or the predator 20.1 low.. I’m looking for a comfortable boot that gives your a semi tight fit but not as tight or narrow as the vapors
For whatever reason the Legend 7 sole plate gives me mid foot pain. Something the 5 and 6 didn't. I prefer the rear studs to be like the 5 and the 6 ... more rounded. Sucks they kept the same stud config.
Haven’t got insta so can’t ask a question for the next Q and A so asking here instead. Do you think boots have hit/are close to hitting a plateau and that future releases will largely be sideways steps from now on?
How do they compare to the Magista Opus 2 (version 2) in sizing, touch, and fit? Looking the replace those with the Legend 8 later this year since they look somewhat similar.
