I would put the latest Legend 9 elite up there among the best Tiempos ever, would strongly recommend people grab a pair or two while you still can for decent prices
The tiempo legends are honestly amongst my favorite football boots of all time. Along with Nike’s mercuria, adidas predator and copa mundial,Mizuno morelia,Diadora brasil and lotto stadio, the Tiempo series are up there with those boots
Tiempo 5 my favourite. Especially the Red/White & Blue/Orange colour way. That two colour design on the boots brought me back to the T90s in the mid 2000’s
*The red and white air zoom tiempo legend worn by Ronaldinho in 2005 made tiempos popular again. Back then you had strikers, midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers wearing them*
I still use nike tiempo 8 this is a boot i liked so much after the first 6 months of use i bought 5 more pairs and have never played football in any other boot 2 of which i have still kept fresh
Had a pair of legend 9 elite ag and gosh were out of this world unfortunately the sole plate starting separating from the boot after a month had to send them back and got a full refund I’ve tried to purchase some more tiempo legends ag and they’re all sold out so I’m sad but the time I gad with them was brilliant and look forward to getting a pair of legend 10s in ag soleplate
I just hope the 10s don’t break a month into wearing them. I always beat up my shoes. The leather always held up great on my previous tiempo’s after months of wearing them.
He does make good points about the tech of leather being deficient in the durability department. Personal the tiempo holds a lot of nostalgia but it feels like a good direction for synthetic leather. The older mercurial Vapor 11 with the teijin synthetic is what gives me hope that the tiempo will be in good hands. Nike is amazing at innovating and creating stylish boots at the same time. And I hope others will be fond of this path as it seems fair instead of riding the hate train. Only downside is the price for what you pay for. The tiempo felt like you actually got what you paid for because of leather. And synthetic can nowadays be made by trash so consumers are basically paying $230+ for trash in a way. If the new synthetic tiempo had a $170-$200 price point a lot of people would honestly respect it.
@@eqeeqeqeqeeqeqeq6696 no no you missed my point. Why is it considered one of the best? Because they made a boot that had a synthetic upper feel closer to leather! And kept the weight really light! And what happened years later is that we considered it arguably one of the best boots ever like you said!
@@agr9432depends on the model. The leather adizeros were GOATed but compared to the vapor 13? The vapor 13 is clear and probably the best vapor of all time. Add in the AG/pro soleplate too 🔥
I've played in the legend 7s for maybe 2 years and yet to find a boot that comes close - I didn't even have to break them in! I had to replace them with legend 9s and they're nice but nowhere near as soft as the 7s, does anyone know if they soften up over time?
I'm having the same thing, though I've only worn my 9's twice. I'm guessing they will, the padding gives it that extra stiffness, might make it last a bit longer.
@@StriderDSC I’ve worn my 9s for maybe 2-3 hours and they have softened up a good amount. Just nowhere near the buttery softness of the leather on my 7s!
I have the 9’s and the 7s and yes over time the 9s feel like slippers they feel freer on my feet if im being honest while the 7s feel a little more locked in even after being broken in both amazing boots but i just prefer the 9s just a bit more than the 7s and yes i feel like the K leather on the 7s was of higher quality
Dear jay mike please tell me when we dribble the ball with close control wihle touching the ball with every step does we have to look slightly ahead of the ball while touching the ball so that we can see the ball in the peripheral vision and what's happening ahead of us or we see have to look ahead of the ball after we have touched it after every stride .Please answer my question as hve a doubt watching your previous close control dribbling video on unisports. If possible please make a video on how to look up while dribbling the ball close control and if not possible then simply answer me in comment as a reply to my question as making a video will make it easier to explaining then replying it through a comment. I hope you will listen to my request.
dont look at the ball while dribbling. Simple as that. Look at all the professionals. Most only tilt their heads down and look at the oppositions legs/hips to see which way to attack. If its close control, then u should know exactly where the ball is once u touch it, or when u are dribbling with it. If ur taking on a defender, then it makes sense to look slightly down, more towards their hips and legs to see when they tackle, but thats only when u are committed to taking him on. If ur both just standing there, or ur dribbling towards him, or into space, look up so that u can see passing options.
I just can't believe corporate speak about durability when it comes to consumer products... Their whole business model is based on planned obsolescence and mass production/consumption! Just say we made a cool boot for your collection and be done with it...
I was wondering if anyone in the comments could help me pick between some boots? I have wide feet btw. Im choosing between the mizuno morelia 2 MIJ, Predator accuracy .1, tiempo legend 9s and the phantom gx pro/club
The nike guy basically said they'll appeal to kids and they can create an image with colours etc. Proper players want a k leather boot stretched to fit. Watch any pro without a boot deal. 90% k leather copa mondial, tiempo, puma King. I dispare at this move to plastic boots so the company can make more money 💰. I think Mizuno, NB, diadora etc are gonna come forward now. Be surprised if Nike sell these to anyone who's not a kid. I hope they flop and go back to k leather.
