Not Crying Uncle 

The entire family failed the grandmother. The guy was in the hospital for 10 days, he was worse off than the grandmother, cut him some slack. She clearly damaged the vehicle.

I don’t know why she’s taking out her anger on her uncle for grandma not eating when she could’ve gone past and fed her grandma if she loves her grandma that much

What a bunch of weirdos, why wait until midnight to go visit grandma, the kids had all day to visit and bring her some food.

If they know the uncle is in the hospital, why wouldn’t any of them go help the grandmother?

Why was she mad that the grandmother hadn't eaten yet? Shouldn't she and her mother shoulder some of that responsibility when her uncle is in the hospital for ten days?

The plaintiff had a fricken heart attack & in the hospital for 10 days & what was his niece & sister doing to help out? Sister hasnt been there for 6 yrs & cray niece trashes his vehicle! Time for grandma to go to the nursing home where she can be fed, cared for & get away from this Dysfunctional chaos for reals!

She totally did it, I'm a parent of 7 grown children and I can tell a liar in a youngster. 😂😂

Paying her respects to Grandma makes it sound like Grandma is dead.

Why are people blaming him for his mother not eating when he was in the hospital recovering from a heart attack? What about the rest if family? Why didnt the neiece and her mother take food to her or take grandma to eat thanksgiving dinner with them? He clearly states he was mad they didnt take better care for her and yet ppl are blaming him 😂😂😂😂😂

Other family members should have checked in everyday!!! Buy food. Buy T.P. & whatever else is needed. It isn't hard to feed an old lady. They don't eat much.

If they brush off the fact that their 86 yr old grandmother hasn't eaten all day and nearly all night I can imagine what other horrors that she goes thru. There's a special place in Hell for those that abuse the old and the very young. Shame on them.

Staying up all night could be part of dementia/senility, but older people sleep less as well. She's definitely guilty of damaging the car. I kinda believe the niece about her not eating all day. When he was asked 'who feeds her', he says, 'I take care of her a lot'. That doesn't address who feeds her. If she needs to be fed, it makes me question whether she's truly able to make food for herself. However, senility makes people say things that aren't true. She has to pay, but I wish I felt better about Grandma 🤔 I dunno, lol. I'm a Hospice RN now after years in the ER, so I see/hear things differently than other people. I could just be reading too much into it 🤷 My gut says no.

Seems Grandma did a fantastic job with her entire lot of relatives. All stellar people.

Someone should call Adult Protective Services for Grandma.

Thanks Giving, probably the biggest day on the American calendar and everyone left grandma on her own for the entire day, you would think someone in the family would have gone and picked her up for the day. Can understand the son was in hospitable, but what about the daughter or another sibling if there are any? My father is 87 years old and we would never leave him home alone on Christmas Day. Sadly far to many people ignore the elderly until they are on their death bed and all the family can think about is the will. I have 3 sisters in Brisbane Australia who come to Melbourne (1700 kms) 2 or 3 times a year and stay with my father nearly every time. They even have a weekend away with him and my other 2 sisters.

She has ago at the man that was in hospital. But says nothing to her own mother for not helping her grandma. Or doing something herself 🤔😞

To answer Harvey's question...Yes! I would sue anyone but my mother. Any other family member can get it🤣 I don't see that as something so horrible because when there is a dispute you need an arbitrator or mediator and that's what the judge does in court. So, court is a way of settling a dispute without violence and/ or grudges. Especially those folks on the People's Court because the show pays the judgement so there is no harm. However, it depends on the amount and principal as to whether I would take a family member to regular court. I don't think it is wrong to hold someone accountable, and it doesn't matter who it is. I watched my brother go into debt because he cosigned for a car for our brother. He has been struggling ever since, my other brother totaled the car and left him with a car note. Now he's in debt and our brother isn't going to help him and he refuses to take him to court. Couldn't be me...I cannot! Like I said the only person getting a pass from me is my mama.

Poor Mom has to deal with two of her children not speaking to each other, a granddaughter who wants to fight her uncle, and all of the drama with her son. My mom is 86. She lives with my sister. While my sister is at work, my mom pretty much takes care of herself. She still makes the beds, does all the laundry, feeds the cats, etc... We are lucky she is as well as she is. I can't imagine her being alone and not eating. I am grateful to my sister for her care. I live in another state so don't get to see her as much as I would like to, but we talk almost every day on the phone.

He may have won his case, but like the defendant said, he left his mother with no food because he was in hospital but his daughter neglected the needs of the grandmother too, so they really are quite a horrible family, no wonder his niece was so angry with him...

If the niece felt like retaliation was smarter than feeding grandma herself, why didn't she take it out on the cousins instead? I would've been upset with whoever was supposed to be taking care of grandma in uncles absence. Just a lil strange she targeted him. Uncle was also not happy his mother wasn't fed yet, and is trying to arrange a meal while being newly discharged from the hospital.... talk about stressful.

The defendant's Mom is a Karen as well as the daughter. This kind of people in the family are the first one to sue for Grandma's assets when she passes away. Give the plaintiff a break, he was in the hospital for 10 days while his sister is not bothering to check on their Mom.
