Thomas, I absolutely love this design. My situation is a little different than yours. I am renovating my condo that sits on the 21st floor in Chicago. I would love to use this idea but use my ryobi table saw and ryobi compound sliding miter saw, and flip between each one. What do you think?
Sounds like it could work! I do not know the weight of each of those tools but my DeWalt planer is about 100 pounds and the Ridgid sander is 40 pounds and it rotates just fine. You also need to make sure there is enough room for each tool to rotate fully. All dimensions are in the pictures of the product listing.
Not doubting it at all, but just wondering how just those screws on the 4 corners can hold that planer upside down because I have the exact same one and that thing is a beast that weighs at least 12,000 pounds.
