This was epic! I built a table for an old apartment that was permanent! It was built similar to this table except smaller and still attached! My friend was the building owner and she said it is still there!!!
I bought an outlet that both your saw & vac plug into. When you sqeeze the trigger on the saw, it automatically turns on the vac. The vac runs for about 5 seconds after the saw is done, then shuts off. I think you'd really like that addition.
Effin’ A Tweety! That is the work top I’ve been looking for. It will go well in my actually small work space. And with a cover on the bottom it will actually not be an eye sore in a living area of the house.
Festool has this nailed with the wings. You get stops 8’ out each side and it’s super mobile. I’ve added a second tape calibrated for my KSC 60 since that is the primary saw I keep on my trailer now. It’s not cheap but I have no regrets.
I’ve noticed plywood plank is never 100% straight, it always has some kinda bend, I would use a laser and try to be as accurate as possible since its a station
Great grandpa was a butcher. But he built his entire 2 story, 3 bedroom house, by himself, with only hand tools; no power 'nuthin. The whole place looks like it was built by a cabinetmaker. Every piece of wood fits every contact of it, perfectly. Must have had a great deal of patience as well as skill. The whole family of male cousins often refers to how hard it is to live up to great grandad's work. A toast to you, Oscar. Your legacy is how well you provided such a great example of what a man can do, just by being careful, and paying attention to every detail.
