I love this rendition so, so much. She has a fantastic voice and knows just how to wrap it around the lyrics. And great instrumentation by the band. Really, I think this version is better sounding than the original. 🤍🎶

I am a big fan of Lindy hop and there's a fabulous video of Stephen and Chanzie (Two of the best) dancing to that song. If you search RU-vid for real nitty-gritty you will find it easily. Allison blows it out of the house. Just sensational. Tell her I said so.

Too slow, not 'dirty' enough in spite of her great voice.

She has the voice. But - how can I put this delicately - the presentation needs to be a little dirtier. This is a double-entendre song and needs to be funky and nasty. This version is just a little too clean. Also the guy doing Lincoln Chase's part should exaggerate those gutteral bass voice vocalizations even more. Try my advice and you may take this song over the top.
