And suddenly I'm team Erich. We've come a long way from that weird night 1 edit.

Seeing what Erich was dealing with at home, I’m definitely looking at him in a whole different way. I’m glad Gabby, as well as the rest of the people watching got to see what a warm person his dad was. May his father Rest In Peace. 🤍

I understand Tino's parent's concerns but their delivery was so harsh! Rachel actually got through it better than I expected!

I think Erich and Gabby have a mature understanding type relationship. I think they are the best match .

I think Rachel is more attached to Tino, but I think she would end up being happier with Zach. She needs someone who's sweet and tender like Zach and his family. Tino is a great guy, but I think when the first love wears off, he's not really the gentle, sensitive type that she needs.

I dont remember which episode it was but erich said something a few weeks ago about "i dont wanna be here for 8 weeks for no reason" (paraphrase) and at the time it seemed obnoxious, but with the context of the episode it actually makes a lot of sense. i have a feeling that was edited out of context and he probalby started off the sentence with "because my dad is sick" or something

I think Jason seems like an extremely decent person and it is totally, 100% reasonable and normal to need more than 8 weeks to get engaged to someone. But when you go on this show with that mindset (which I share!), you're putting yourself in a position to hurt someone. And above all he needs to tell Gabby - before the fantasy suite - so she can make an informed decision. This whole thing is making me anxious.

The plane watching being a throwback to their first one on one got an audible "aww" from me, that's so sweet.

The In Memory Of at the end of the episode…..was that Erich’s dad? He died since filming? How terribly sad 😥. He seemed like an absolutely wonderful dad, husband, and man. So sad.

I wish we can normalize NOT getting engaged on this show. It's totally ok to walk away BF and GF at the end of this!!!!!

I think the fact that Erich and gabby’s journey has real sadness and real life stuff makes them stronger. It’s not just fake bachelor fairytale! Rest In Peace to his father 😞

I think they should have had two Hometowns episodes because everything felt super rushed.

Was I the only one who noticed last week when Rachel asked tino how his family treated past girlfriends, he avoided the question because he knew they’d act like this toward her

Y’all cannot blame Rachel for this . Tyler is in no way legitimately in love with Rachel. Rachel barely had group dates with any of the guys and never had any one on one time with Tyler. It’s honestly kind of weird. Production is totally responsible for this mess

I honestly feel like Tino’s hometown was one of the most honest hometowns I’ve seen on this show. Sure his parents were pretty savage and could have been a little more gentle in their delivery, but I appreciate them trying to get both Tino and Rachel to think realistically. While feelings might be real, it’s not real because it’s not real life, it’s a bubble, everything is so rushed, they don’t truly know each other, and the whole process is extravagant and romanticized.

The fact that the thumbnail is Rachel’s face in the moment… I legit paused it and cried from laughter when I was watching the show 🤣

I felt hometowns were so rushed. Tino didn’t even get a day portion of his hometown. And Erich wanted Gabby to meet his parents first, but he didn’t really get a day portion either, although they did go out to a restaurant (without food) to talk. 🤷🏼‍♀️ You can clearly see where the producers have made cuts to shorten the episode. I dunno why they didn’t just make it a 2-day special every week.

Is it mandatory to do the running jump every time they all see each other? 😂

Tino's hometown i feel like is a huge red flag personally i dont think they fit well and i feel like he just wants to win to win. his parents were way too harsh, unsupportive and pretty rude tbh

How people believe Jason, of all people, only joined the show for “fame” when he’s been the MOST reserved guy on the show/front of a camera is beyond me. It’s extremely reasonable to not only not want an engagement after 6 weeks, but also to want to leave the show bf/gf. Many couples from this franchise has done it before; most of them being the most successful couples

I honestly think that he knew he was being broken up with. But for him it was hard to love again and so he wanted her to know it before he left. Very emotional. At 1st I was embarrassed for him but then I realized that he just wanted to tell her before he couldn't anymore.

I feel bad for judging Erich the way he handled his conversation with Gabby on their first date. It’s so obvious that the producers edited the hell outta him and I think it is very unfair to him and to us-the audience. We should be able to see the genuine connection and love Erich and Gabby built together little by little on this journey instead of keeping them a secret. We usually find out who the final guy is anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Where did the whole fire station footage go with Zach’s hometown? I feel like we’ve just lost so much content this season. So sad.

I think the hard part about Tinos hometown and the parents, was that yes they had concerns which is completely valid, but at the end of the day you should have enough trust in your child’s decisions and choices, instead of scrutinizing his date because of this process that he chose to go on lol

The tyler ordeal was hard to watch I understand why she felt that way but she also knew their relationship wasn't as strong as the others before giving him a hometown rose

Man Tyler’s breakup was so hard to watch. He took that blow like a goddamn champion. I really hope he finds the gal to bring home to his family one day.

I’m a little worried that 2 of Gabby’s 3 guys are apparently not ready. Maybe I’m just taking engagements too lightly? Like all these parents and contestants having reservations like the end game couple is supposed to get married right away. It’s just an engagement, a promise to work towards a future together after the show, it’s not like it’s binding in any way. Enough bachelor/bachelorette couples not lasting proves that. Heck I don’t even understand the worry about their kid being hurt by the lead, they’re already in too deep, the hurts gonna happen either way at this point. Feels more like a discussion for before they joined the show. Again, I’m really not taking the engagement seriously so that’s probably why I can’t understand the big deal these families and contestants are making of the issue. 🤔

I look forward to Bachelor Fantake’s recaps. Really the only reason I still watch the show. Keep up the great work

Tyler shouldn’t of made it to hometowns if she felt like she didn’t have a connection with him. I mean they haven’t even had a 1 on 1 date. She should of let him go earlier.

So happy tino parents added a genius helping of reality to the home visit. Marriage is a huge undertaking even with someone perfectly matched with ample time to prove it. I hope if Tino ,and Rachel stay together They are happy ,and I applaud Tino's parent for cared deeply most of their son future.

Sigh...what goes around in Bachelor world comes around. Rachel dumps Tyler in the middle of "I love you," in a lit up playground with his parents and probably dinner with the best china on the table waiting on one date only to face the brutal but realistic drill sergeant parental grilling on Tino's next date. Cocky Tino digs his heels in against his dad and tries to reassure Rachel they adore her, but it might take a first grandbaby to warm up this hardscape Italian family. Zack's HT was perfect...too perfect. Lookout when the editing is that perfect. Something is up.... Erich's HT to me was gutrenching. I watched Nurse Gabby and Dad with terminal cancer and cried with Mom who believes marriage is for life - the good with the bad, for better or worse. Ah, New Orleans! How sweet was Jason's Dad? In fact, Jason had a great family! The problem is FORESHADOWING. Jason tells Mom he does NOT see himself engaged in 2 weeks. Gabby is not going to be part of Jason's family. He told Gabby he almost left early on... I think Jason may leave. We heard Johnny tell his Mom he didn't think he was ready. He's out. That is too bad...I liked the look of where his family lives. Let's hope Aven's HT goes well. (Keeping fingers crossed)

The "they even let him go outside" made me laugh out loud at 1:30 in the morning. My poor neighbors

They have given Erich the worse edit: showing his odd night one comment, the one-on-one date edit that made it look like he wasn't comforting Gabby at all... You know that he had to have talked about his father, but they didn't show it! I also feel like a producer must have been encouraging Tino's family's skepticism! I can see them being wary, but my bet is that production was in their ear to get that bad date. Also, why wasn't there any day date footage with Tino? Are they just trying to get us to doubt his relationship with Rachel? The editing this season is very different!

Everyone hating on those parents but like only 2 of these Bachelor Relationships have actually held together, makes sense they’d a bit hostile towards the whole thing.

Zach did the right thing to get off with Rachel. There's something with her that Zach saw, he's trying to tell that to Jesse, was cut off by him. ABC Is trying to protect her. All they did is focus on how she was hurt by Tino.

Tino is no surprise. I could see that one coming from the first episode. I was not expecting the strong connection with Erich. As of now, I think these two are the best choices for the final roses (as long as they don't fall asleep in the Fantasy Suite).

Is it just me or like… why go on the show if you’re not ready to get engaged? Isn’t that what the whole show is about? An engagement at the end?

I kind of felt Tyler was trolling Rachel when they were sitting on the bench and he kept going on about how amazing she is and he was falling in love etc. Her body language and facial expression before and during his speech was so obvious I feel anyone would have stopped and asked her what's wrong. His "gushing" has never felt real to me.

Sadly, I fear Rachel will end up picking Tino despite Zack being the obvious BEST choice. This show continues to prove why these people are single in the first place: they don’t know a good thing when they see it. Rachel is looking at lust/chemistry and not compatibility/love. Ladies remember, the man should always love the woman more. And Tino is not falling in love with Rachel, he just didn’t want to go home because his parents knew he was talking out his butt about how he feels about her. Tino is here to win, that’s it, that’s all but Rachel can’t see the forest for the trees 🤦🏾‍♀️.

*Mini tin foil hat time* I don’t think Rachel was looking around when she dumped Tyler and he said he was in love with her. I think she was looking at a producer because she realized they probably pushed him to say it right before the dumping.
