Not for me but........ 

As a total golf snob i went to my local fitter, told him there was no limit on budget , these were head and shoulders above all the other 2021 irons, 4 of my last 5 rounds are counting scores of my 8 best , i’m now pushing cat. 1 again after a long lay off. My previous irons were MP 20’s

Just got a set of D9 irons. Love ❤️ them & they really improved my ball height/descent angle.Got them stopping on the greens now😀

I always had Titleist AP2 or CB and I got a set of Wilson FG Tour V6 irons and I've not used a newer set since that are better. I can play off 2 and my brother loves them and used them as a 12 handicap. Wilson have stepped up

I’m a mid handicapper and got the D7 Forged irons…last year. Feel and sound so good with great ball flight

I restarted playing last year with Cleveland HB Launcher Turbo but had the stiff shaft which was not made for me. So I changed to the D7 with regular graphite shafts some months ago and they perform great. The D9 seems to perform a bit better but for me the D7s work well. Callaway produces great stuff but is way too expensive for the average golfer. And if you can keep your ego small you don’t have to go with the newest and most expensive brands (PXG is another example for good but very expensive) and you still can go out on the course for doing what is (or should be) the primary goal of golf: have fun!

I tried both to buy and loved both but chose B21 just because it felt easier to hit, the feel of the Wilson was lovely but and I had the D7 before but my handicap has dropped from 23 to 19.1 with the Callaway and really enjoying my golf with these clubs.

Tried B21s, Tried hot metal, tried Ping 400/410/710, sim 2. m2/m4 and just sold my new D9s, all had plus points but being disabled and my swing speed has halved since my single figure days I have found it increasingly hard to get the height and carry especially with the strong lofts now in most game improvement irons. I am now trying the Cobra Airspeed with the lite 45gr shaft and 31 deg lofted 7 iron, hopefully to get a bit of height and stop on the greens. Still the optimist after 50+ years, and when you get to my stage, looks, make, cost do not really matter, just the pleasure of hitting a great shot now and again.

I’ve put 12 rounds through my D9’s. Hands down best clubs I’ve hit. I attack the pin, and feel really confident with these.

Try wearing a fleece jacket to see if it helps with the noise when you swing.....other than that video quality is outstanding

When I came back to golf I used the wilson deep red maxx irons lovely and forgiving so if I had to Pick I'd go D9s

Had my D9’ for a month or so now. 21hcp. Down from 23 in that period Added Arccos to them. Hit my irons on average 20-30 yards longer with these although they are strong lofted. 5 hybrid then 6-sw including the gap wedge for £584 Cracking clubs. Worth every single penny.

I have a set of D9 with recoil shaft in them.Been using them for two month now and found them to be a great set of irons.They look just fine at address and perform fantastic on the course.They are built well, feel solid on impact and they are easy to hit.Been looking for a new set for some time now from my 2016 Taylormade M2 irons.After some long time shopping and trying different irons the D9's are for me.Why not use the money you save on somthing else.

I have an old set of Wilson Deep Red Irons from 2004 and they are still great. Wilson make quality good value irons and agree with other comments they are underrated.

I have these . took a while to adjust to them but I found with 4 iron if I move my front foot back it straightens the club face . Now I hit the following sw 90 . pw 115. 9 iron 120 . 8, 130 , 7 iron 145 to 150. 6 iron 160 , 5 iron 170, 4 iron 180 I have hit one 4 iron 195 yards . BEST WITH THE WILSON DUO BALL THOUGH

Seemed to me that you hit those D9 irons straight and long and on target - that is all alot of players want !

I think they look great in the bag and at address, how often do you lift a club up and look at like this.

Wilson have been making quality clubs and friendly to use clubs for years. My mate had some about 15 years ago and he could rip a ball. I just think they've got lost in all the big boys marketing. Their new players irons stuff look absolutely stunning though! I'd like to try the CB's

Why you preferred the Callaway baffles me. The Wilson you hit sooo much better. I would choose the Wilson if I wanted an iron like that.

I would be open to testing both clubs and seeing which is one is better for me as Wilson clubs are getting good reviews.

I play the d100 and these d9 are a club more in loft. my d100 6 iron is 27° compared to the d9 7 iron.

Wilson offer great products that give you good quality and perform, but the killer punch is the price no contest, some brands now the prices are obscene. The D9 is on my list along with the B21. and TM sim max2 O/S.

I would really like you to demo the Yonex irons. Under rated but F1 performance.

Good choice to suit the player to the club! Liked how you encouraged his feedback on performance. Those clubs aren't meant for me, either but enjoyed how you matched the player to the club. Good watching.

For anyone that hasn’t considered Wilson irons, you are sincerely missing out. Some of the best irons across the board in all categories. Not just game improvement irons. The D7 forged are butter!

There are tons of cheap, quality golf clubs available second hand because amatuer golfers are always swapping their clubs in search of a quick fix to their swing. I was having a lesson from a pro and at the end he said that someone had just traded in one of the best sets of irons ever made, so I went into the shop and bought them for £89 for the set. And fantastic they were as well🤣

Just got back into golf after 8 years away from game, had a bag of TM R7's, time for an upgrade, but didn't want to spend a lot until I know I was going to be playing constantly. I picked up the Wilson D300 SL irons and 4 hybrid for 349.00 USD. They are rocket launchers. I have lowered my 9 hole average from low 50's to low 40's and the ball flight is high and long. My 7 ioron is going about 155-160 which is good for me (42 with a bad hip) and the 4 hybrid flys about 190-200 with a nice easy swing. Wilson golf clubs are the best clubs for the money I think. guy I pay with just got Sim 2 max and they are ugly and chunky and cheap looking. I would not get them if I upgrade again..D7 forged looking like my next purchase.

Just get some taylormade sim2 max they are forgiving but not as strong lofted really enjoy using mine

18 handicap and just getting back into the game after a long lay off. Didn’t have a real budget issue so I did a stack of research right across the brands and looked at dozens of reviews. Every review took a similar approach - this is the best club for the price and performance that you won’t buy!!!! So why is that? Wilson Staff don’t have an aggressive and very expensive marketing strategy employing g the top names to wear a cap and they are known for that but what they do have is the most successful golf major results winning more than any other brand. Not one review across RU-vid and Fb pros could knock the price or performance so unless you are a badge snob and insist on one of those names then take a closer look at the entire D9 range. Well I did and I love them.

If I misunderstood you, I apologize in advance. Feels like you are a bit tough on the looks of the Wilson - I did not think they looked that bad for a cavity back - actually thought they had a classier look than the Big Bertha irons. Just my opinion - thanks for another great vid!

Wouldn't buy Wilson new as it has zero resell value when you decide to move them on. Also found the Wilson irons to wear more excessively

Buy a microphone that doesn't get muffled by your jacket.

Wilson make sports equipment for many top class professionals, so why not clubs. Sorry but manufacturers are taking the p#ss out of everyone charging more than £500 for a set of irons, especially when the true cost of making them is known. Retailers aren’t making the profit it is the makers. Buy preowned and safe a fortune.
