Sadly, it's really hard to get views from RU-vid unless you're focused on creating the right kind of videos based on three popular formats for the right audience. In this video, I'm gonna share how you can get more views on RU-vid in 2024 and finally start growing your channel. That is the crossroads with youtube. Make videos you want and gain limited success or make videos your audience wants and have much more success.

@@BriangjohnsonTv I don't know him personally but I have watched some of his videos, great stuff. I just found an AMAZING coin on Tuesday near some old gold mines here in CO. I don't know if it's a seasonal thing but it seems like our channel just stopped gaining traction over night... was seeing thousands of views a day to a couple of hundred per day (on shorts) Is that kinda normal? Thanks!

👋😄 Always good info Brother, but in this case I'm at a loss. I studied those 3 categories, I reviewed my videos RU-vid specifically listed. I thought I had a better idea, my last 3 videos......🦗(crickets). Frustration Nation is where I live 😂

Keep it simple. This is helpful and it can be applied to any channel. But even more important and more powerful is again keeping it simple. Focusing on the things that viewers value like your editing, your delivery, your voiceover, your topics, your ability to get people to click and more importantly to keep them watching. Focus on the skills that great RU-vidrs have above you. Get honest with yourself. Do that and anytime you’ll get what you want.

@@BriangjohnsonTv 🥹I thought Vigilante was a decent episode...but I see your point. 🤣 When I model what worked well from previous videos, where I got thousands of views and dozens of comments, somehow the pendulum swings the other way. I am a glutton for punishment and a sucker for a challenge, so I press on 😁👍

I hang out in comment sections of creators in my niche on purpose. Answering questions that aren’t being answered by that creator as well as getting video ideas.

I have been trying to get back to the basics. I really like the way this video brakes down the 3 main types of videos in a way that I can understand. I am liking Opus clips too. I don't do any lives but I have been putting some of my longer Hero style videos into Opus clips to get some good shorts content.

I know I am not getting the subscriber count I'd like to, but I also know why. My channel is not niche specific. The only thing niche specific about it is, it is a review channel, random reviews. Watch time is not too big of an issue though. But honestly, I can't blame someone for not subscribing because if you go to watch a review about a in home security camera, that is what you are there for, not a review about a bath scale...lol The channel is growing, just very slowly.
