Nice to see waves like this ridden well! Funny people are so protective of waves that 99.9% of the people viewing this wouldn't paddle out for. That takes some talent and Cojones. Well Done!
what a stupid comment. Only 1 in 1000 people on a Dane Reynolds video own a surfboard? You aware that waves sometimes break in different sizes so people with no talent or cojones like yourself CAN attempt it? Maybe you're right that some people wouldn't paddle out for it, they'd kook it up with a jet ski instead. "Funny to see" people not wanting to see one of their female friends get gangbanged by a bunch of songs from a disgusting big city? Bitch there's plenty of people in that area with the talent and cojones to surf that well. The difference is that the footage is only shared among friends.
Is Dane's channel really full of people like you? Plenty of talent near here. Best part about this whole thing is Dane just rolled up and checked this spot 15 minutes ago, saw the 12 guys on the inconsistent peak and bailed the f outta here. A female koala bear has the talent and cojones to paddle out today, there's nothing stopping you guys.
Good stuff ! Athletes of the highest order ! 90% of the population could not get past the shore break. And if they did they could not punch through the waves to get outside. These guys are out there for hours !!!
Seriously there’s no law against cannabilism but there are laws protecting sharks. Finding this out pisses me off more than can be explained in English
Black's is known for big peaks, but has nowhere near as many down the line screaming walls. Ventura Harbor is always 3' (at least) bigger than anywhere else, and holds at 12-18'. Offshore winds make it tougher. I think the average surfer in those conditions have a noticeably higher skill level than the average Black's surfer, and they are not riding 9' pintail guns to catch a 12' face wave. And, no need to be protective of the wave... Like Joe Gibbs noted, most people don't paddle out into that wave, and those that do have a clue as to all facets of surfing. Including etiquette. And, it's easy to identify the wave. Morning offshore, oil derricks (but no mini oil island, pier and freeway, so it's not Rincon, plus it's not a right hand point) color of the water (always green/brown tint (but not brown like New Jersey), Anacapa and Santa Cruz are not in the pictures, and of course, you can see the local hills, which clearly identify where you are if you have sat in the water here.... Anyone that has surfed all of southern california knows this spot.
@@therealbeans Pathetic. Not cool. Name calling ... why? Why put toxic sewage into the ocean. Must be because people that can't, compensate with something else. You must be cursed. When you look in the mirror for the rest of your life, each time, the same thought: I am inadequate.
He was trying to nonverbally convey to the filmer that you don't really film this area while showing a ton of context/setting shots... Guess it didn't work because they posted the shots anyway
