Don, I’m a GI nurse. If they didn’t see anything in your colonoscopy then maybe there isn’t anything to worry about. Cat scans can and have been wrong that’s why they will recheck labs and other tests. Stay strong Don. I’m sure your GI doc will keep a close eye on you and catch things as quick as they can... have Faith! 🙏🏼❤️
So he was talking about metastatic issues and a two year clean slate. That almost never happens. Particularly when he says he had liver involvement. Generally, from what I've seen at this point, pancreas or liver surgery is palliative. I'm always hearing that adhesions from scar tissue give false positives on diagnostic tests. Something wrong here. I hope he isn't hearing bad news when the doctors are just musing about potential trouble.

As an ovarian cancer survivor I can understand your emotions. Waiting for test results and not knowing what is happening with your body is frustrating. You are one of the most optimistic and strong people on this earth, and you will get through this time as you have made it through the last years. You have many people praying for you.

With all the other test being clear, perhaps there was a glitch in the CT SCAN, I’ve heard of this happening before. Here’s hoping it’s that!! It must be difficult to be going through this but stay positive!! God bless you. We’ll be praying that is nothing. I have a feeling it’s going to be a false finding. Hi Don. I work in oncology. Depending on what exactly the scan says, it may just be postop or post treatment inflammatory changes. They can sometimes light up several months down the road. Hoping this is your case. Take care.

I’m praying that it was a mistaken test. This happens many times. My friend had a test on her lungs that said her lung cancer came back big time...she had no symptoms at all. They retested and it was a false negative and 2 years later she’s doing great. Don, I will be praying for you either way...I truly care about you.
I’m sorry, Don. I only joined your “Cruising” channel a month or two ago, but it’s weird, I consider you a friend ... someone to check in with every day or so! I started my journey with stage 4 breast cancer over 6 years ago and have had everything under the sun like you and am still here. The fear never leaves. It is such a roller coaster ride of the worst kind but we are warriors and can make it through anything now! Prayers for you and continue the fight!!!

Don't apologize for not being chipper! Given that kind of news, most of us would be curled up in a ball in bed with a box of tissues, not making a video.
I feel your pain. We can beat it up but we can't kill it. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer early, and took the drugs and underwent surgery. She was pronounced "cured". For 10 years there were no symptoms. Then it returned as bone cancer. She only lived another 3 years. Very sad. I miss her.
I am very sorry for your loss. My husband was fortunate in that his battle with stomach cancer lasted just three months. Life has been unbearable without him, but things are finally looking up.
It's a devasting blow losing your other half for sure. Lost my wife to breast cancer in 2019. The one bright spot I found was cruising......and then the pandemic.
