As the one who played in the video, I agree with some of the replies, the performance wasn’t great, but it was for good reasons, like the uncomfortable posture, tension of being recorded by Joe Jenkins himself and, most importantly, not having practiced for more than a month due to summer holidays

Secondly, the op's comment mentioned being posses and doing wizardry, is quite obviously an exaggeration and is more just saying "he says he plays piano then proceeds to play the start of a tune that's not easy to play". Thirdly, being able to judge it has nothing to do with you being able to play the piano. Fourthly, the guy was playing Chopin's fantaisie impromptu which is at least an advanced piece, yes he made some mistakes but that doesn't take away from the skill to even get most of it right, so considering the guy played an advanced piece one could objectively say, he's at most decent, and is probably actually kinda good. Fifthly, if you're only argument was because you disagreed with "absolute wizardry" then you need to learn context and nuance in speech and text.

This comment pains me, fantasie impromptu is not even top 100. There are plenty of other more difficult pieces. And his wasn't that good, it was nice but he played with flat fingers and missed notes(it was still good tho)

@@mudmudmudm okay, la cammpanella, etude de paganini n.6, any other liszt piece, gaspard de la nuit, half of the chopin op.10/25 etudes and much more. If you knew piano you would know that fantasie impromptu is a pretty intermediate piece. I myself have played most of it a few years back, and can easily play it now.

Nothing wrong with flat fingers (in certain cases), especially with small hands, but yes, it was a sloppy rendition.
