Psalms 62:1-2 (KJV) Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
@@goatzega3006depends on what unit and branch. Probably national guard but army had UCP issued since early 2000’s during invasion of Iraq and going into the Afghanistan war. I served in 2018 and we still had UCP issued gear along with the more recent mixpat camouflage. I did one tour in Afghanistan. My father also served from 1996-2005 he did 3 tours one in Kuwait and 2 in Iraq. He got to wear the Choco desert camo that was iconic in movies like jarhead. That camo was probably my favorite. I don’t like the new multicam it becomes a eyesore after a bit.
@@xAstrophelia Let's just say the Army didn't like us much. We like to keep our hands in our pockets and love our ball caps. Plus tan glows in the dark on NODS, dark green is better at night.
@@davidsobrito1398 I never said I thought UCP looks better than multicam did I? All I said is I’m not a fan of multicam. I’m also not a fan of UCP either. Multicam looks better than UCP. And at night multicam isn’t annoying to your eyes at all unlike UCP. My main point is that when your walking 10 miles with a platoon of mixpat and UCP in your face you tend to hate all of it it’s just annoying to my eyes. And not many people are like that I just like to have variety in my life. So… you still sitting on your high chair or are you gonna come down and humble yourself a bit?
I was once heard a voice I assumed was God (or in my head) saying “open your mouth a little” I’m not sure why I did Could taste paint for a week. Still never saw the guy though. And that was on the drive home.
For those who don't know I think this is sniper training and its like the final test or something where any people in the sniper Corp who have trained this far make it to the final test and are spread out in an area in their own ghillie suits that they made where they have to make it to the target and aka the test instructor without being spotted By the instructor and the others around the instructor while still being hunted by people who will try to find the people in the suits which is why we have that guys who was out in the field looking around.
Yeah the instructor has to see you and be able to direct a field man to your position... the instructor has to be able to direct the person to your exact location. It don't matter if the guy in the field can see you and knows where your at, instructor has ta know ur position! U have so much time to sneak into a certain sized area without being seen and then take your shot without being seen! They can't pin point u, you pass... your seen twice, you fail the whole course!
Rest In Peace, REG E. CATHEY (soldier with binoculars). A truly great and under-appreciated actor. He was my best friend’s uncle. I learned this years into our friendship. I had the pleasure of meeting and having dinner with him twice and can honestly say he was one of the coolest and most genuinely decent people I’ve ever met. It’ll blow your mind, all the movies and shows you might not realize he’s been in. #oneofthegreats #regecathey
@@darkknight4313Cathey died at his home in New York City on February 9, 2018, at the age of 59. He was reported to have had lung cancer. He was cremated, and his ashes were spread in New York City.
He is. Especially in platoon in 1986. I’d say Willem Dafoe, and also Jack Nicholson in 1975 in “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest” and especially Clint Eastwood in mid 1960s in the dollar’s trilogy. Handsome men.

This was the best and most elite military squad I’ve seen on a movie or tv show. They were abandoned with no air support or ANYTHING by the CIA and there were just too many cartel members for them to fight off. They already had the cartel 90% dismantled before they were captured. I really recommend this movie, Clear and Present Danger. It’s my favorite of all time.
