People comparing albon with perez forget that perez iz driving second fastest car on the grid that won the championship last year and is closest by performance to this year mercedes. Performance wise its mercedes 1-2-3-4 this year.

If redbull sacks him the cycle will repeat, ricciardo, kvyat, gasly, albon, another talented driver and another, and another.

This was recorded after Turkey, before the Bahrain races, and things might starkly change by the end of Abu Dhabi. Granted Alex isn't driving the second fastest car as Perez is, but he's driving the second-best allround car in which he had 1.5 years to get adjusted. He hadn't shown enough promise sadly.
