Genesis is a very analytical person. She needs all the facts and every detail before she feels at ease. One of the reasons why she's so smart and does good on everything she does! When sav and link first told the kids about spice, genesis asked about a hundred times what happened to him. She wanted to know every detail and every injury. Ofc her parents don't know everything, but they tried their best. You can't distract genni from something. She needs to talk it through otherwise it'll stay on her mind forever.
After she cried a bit, her and Keaton talked a little more. He didn't try and distract her like he did in the past. He just let her talk until she fell asleep. She ended up staying the night because she was too tired to walk home and Keaton didn't want to wake her anyways. Sav being the worried mom she is, she called like a thousand times wondering where Gen was but Keaton let her know and told her he had everything under control. He just wanted genesis to rest for once.
