I absolutely love mine! I curled everyone’s hair today that came over for Christmas! The charge lasted for hours. I do agree they make the same curls over and over though. I just cannot use a wand or curling iron... I just suck at it and it takes me way way way too long but this thing is absolutely amazing and worth every penny to me 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Thank God I DIDN’T listen to this review. I got myself an unbound curler and It worked perfectly on me. I have thick long hair (beyond bra line) and I was able to finish curling my hair without the battery dying on me. It was so easy and convenient. Give this product a go, you won’t regret it. I love mine and won’t buy anything else.
My hair is shoulder length and i think I’m gonna try this. I can’t work a curling iron to save my life. But if this is stupid-proof, I’m down. And if I hate it, amazon returns. 🙌
I love this curler. I have fine hair that hits just below my collar bone. Not going to lie, I was the biggest fan at first because I followed the directions and only curled 1/2" pieces at a time but then I tried curling 2" sections and it came out perfectly. Again, I have really fine hair. That being said, the biggest reason I Iove this curler is because it makes curling my daughters hair so quick, easy, and safe. I have 2 girls, 5 and 7, who love getting their hair done. My youngest has fine hair like mine but it hits her mid back and my oldest has really thick hair that hits about mid back as well. I would typically use a curling wand or just my flat iron on my hair but I am always afraid to use either to curl my girls hair because they both struggle to sit still (as most kids their age) and I'm terrified of accidently burning them. Fast forward to christmas when I got the Unbound curler and let me tell ya, it's a game changer for curling their hair, they can squirm, fidget, jump around all they want, and I dont have to worry. I agree the beeping is really annoying but as soon as it starts beeping, I just release the button and hold it there for a few seconds. The battery does seem to take a while to charge but that could just be the brick I plugged it in to 🤷♀️... it does hold a charge for a quite a while tho. I can do my hair and both of my girls hair on a single charge with plenty of battery left. It takes about 10 -15 mins to curl each persons hair which is a pretty reasonable amount of time. The fully charged battery lasts a little.over an hour. The other use I think this curler would be great for is dads! I work early, so my husband is usually the one getting our girls up and ready for school and hair is a very obvious struggle for him! But because the curler spins for you and makes it almost impossible to burn your self, I think that he should be able to operate it fairly easily and hopefully step up his hair game 😄
I just got this for $57. It was on a big sale and I'd been eyeing it a while. I'm excited to try it out! I'm not good at curling my hair so I thought it would give me some better looking curls. My hair is similar to the second girl's in length and thickness.
I have one, I'm in Australia. It's called wylera. Ours goes to 200 degrees Celsius. Also up to 18 secs. Ours are amazing. Never had one single issue with it and i can finally have curls. Can't burn yourself. Hand is starting to cramp? Both arms cramp using a hair wand using both hands. There isn't another product on the market to produce uniformed curls.
The latest products, the most favorable prices, source manufacturers. You can have a luxurious curling iron for less than 30 dollars,This is a curling wand suitable for all hair lengths. I posted on my channel
I used up points at my local drugstore and bought one. I love it, and use it at least once a week. I have medium-length hair, and have amazing curls! I often have to recharge midway through, but I love my curls!!
Always appreciate your honest feedback. You always do positive and negatives. I really do appreciate you and your hubby making these videos for folks like me. I will not be purchasing this one however I did purchase the One Step you liked and I adore it as well. My daughter also bought One Step for herself and gifted one to her hair stylist. We will save our money on this one. Thank you.
So like… 10 years ago, there was this automatic curling iron sold on TV… it looked a lot like the Babyliss Pro Nano, but wasn’t that brand. Got that bad boy from my mom for Christmas. It ate my hair. Ate. It. Twirled it up into the moving parts. I thought I was going to have to cut it out of my hair. Plus, it only went 1 direction. Your whole head curled one direction.
I must say that watching this vid was super informative! I am not the least bit interested in buying this product. Thank You so much for your honest view on it!😊👏🏻
I'm just here to spread the good word about eBay. Got mine for only $25 brand new. Absolutely love it, though it does take getting used to. Everyone needs to compare prices between eBay and whatever site you buy from because I feel so bad when I hear how much some of you pay for stuff. I have designer sunglasses and luxury skincare but a very small bank account/budget because I know how to find the absolute best deal for any item. My proudest find is a beautiful chandelier ceiling fan for only $26. And no, it wasn't for a dollhouse! Full size! (I was honestly worried! 😅)
I was actually considering getting this until I saw this video and your comment. It'd take me so long and it looks so awkward to hold. I like long loose curls and this tool doesn't seem adequate for just that. It just seems to have the most confusing instructions and the scariest mechanics.
@@maddiemyers5278 I was referring to this cordless curling device. It would take forever to use that on my daughter's hair, not to mention stuck. I have 8 wands and 4 curling irons in different sizes, 2 flat irons, a deep waver, and heated brush. I do have an automatic curling device by Babyliss that my husband bought me because I described it and giving my thoughts to him. He thought that meant I wanted it.
When Maisie pulled her long hair out of that thing 🙈 I felt pain even though it wasn’t my head. And the „curls“ looked very undone and messy. I didn’t like it
Conair is one to spring on an untrademarked idea, and they can do it really well. I did buy the One step styler and still use it every time I dry and get compliments at work so... I love your reviews
I really appreciate this review. I bought it today for only $50.00. I have fairly long hair, but zero talent with my hair. Seriously, I can't even braid it. So, for someone like me, it's great because, as she said, it's really easy to use, which was my main concern. I agree that it takes long to charge and the chamber is small, so I probably wouldn't use it all the time. But for special occasions and touch ups, it's great!
LOL, I was LITERALLY (yes, I ★literally★ mean "literally" AND know what the word actually means, unlike TOO many people nowdays 🙄) JUST telling my husband about the butane-powered portable curling iron that I used to have & use!! I can't believe not only that they made a product like that but that so many of us used it... just imagine the things that could (& probably did) go horribly wrong 😳😳😳
Not sure why the negative review but I love this thing. It’s amazing. So much better than one with a cord and my curls actually stay. You’re ridiculous
Sorry if i missed this, but is the two brands product basically exactly the same thing ? Im thinking of buying this but I dont wanna buy the "fake" brand if u know what i mean😂
I tried out one of these as a friend has one. Hmm... My hair got stuck in it and I panicked! It was awful! I was terrified of what would happen and I simply couldn't get it out. It must have a fail safe to get it to turn off if/ when that happens but it was scary and painful. Not fun.
Just subscribed. You popped up in my recommendations. Great video. What do you use on your brows? I’m blonde too and can’t never find a good brow product or color.
Hey! I love your videos and I just wanted to let you know that this video and the last one you made on this product is being used for ads. There’s only one other comment in this thread mentioning the ads. I looked at the title and it says that it’s not sponsored so I thought I’d say something in case you didn’t agree to it. I’ve heard of other RU-vidrs having their videos used without permission :/
Is this the new model? The Thin Lizzie model has no starting button at the top. I paid $169 NZ for it at the TV shop and it's not working. I am going to return it. Really fed up!
I just got one rhe unbound, and I have like really long hair all over. Long long bangs like the font hairs of my face (bangs) are 2- 2/14 feet long at least, so for me, I love the chamber, the tool itself, the button doesn’t bother me, it makes MY hair perfect, doesn’t take too much time at all! All on all I give this thing a 10! But that’s just me, my opinion is different from others of course! :) ur gorg girly and like ur vids regardless. But for feedback in comments this a positive comment on the unbound tool :)
I just brought this machine and u can rotate the roller to left and right. U have to push the in and off button once quickly and u are able to set the curls to left or right and the heat settings. The beeping is not annoying to me. I have way longer hair. Half my back and it never got tangled and my hair came out perfect. I had no issues what's so ever. I was done so fast and I have a lot of hair. What I did was I left the hair in the barrel and pushed the button again to go a second round with the same hair that was already in the barrel and came even better. I just didn't like the battery life. I was done in 30 mins for my thick long hair. I had no issue and it was my 1st time doing it today and it was perfect. I think u just complained and exaggerated in your video. The girl with the long hair was doing it wrong. Again., I had no issues at all.
Hi, Thank you for giving so much information on different products it truly helps me with what I want try and buy. Far as this small curling device, it wouldn't help me cause my hair is really long😁 Anyways again Thank you
I keep getting ads for this product under different names, and they're using both of your videos to advertise them. Which makes no sense... I'd love a tool like this but it's so hard to tell which sites are a scam!
I think your hair looks nice...I could see why your arm would get tired..Not sure why they didn't listen to your thoughts and change things..Hugs Loretta
