The rings were probably stuck and it didn’t have enough compression to fire. Ime surprised you didn’t whip the head off and check the valves. Anyway you got it.👍

When I was in my twenties I worked as a gearbox builder my mate had a step through ( can't remember which ?) One snowy day we finished work wrapped ourselves up and prepared to go home after brushing the ßnow off my old 125 Honda started 2nd or 3rd 'kick and burbled away happily my mates bike however refused to! He pumped the kick start for several minutes and it refused to go I said to him hàve you put the choke etc he fumed "I know more about bikes than you've had hot dinners " more kicking I then said well at least it's keeping you warm at that he blew his top and did the full John Cleese on his reluctant steed ( doubting my parentage as well !lol!) After he calmed down isaid just try starting it from scratch as you would normally ( the audience of workmates had gone by now) so he TURNED on the petrol put on the choke and vroom the mighty beast lived so my slightly steamy friend pulled away and as he got to the end of the street braked gently and slid into the kerb ( his brakes had frozen solid !) After defrosting with hot water from work we managed to get him going ( did I Laugh what do you think ???)😂😂😂👍

Them old c90s used to be six volt, the light switches,rectifier, battery, coil, used to go wrong.. I've worked on hundreds of them when working in a bike shop.Also, the front fork links wear which causes the front wheel to go to one side,

Watch those fuel lines, several tinkers , had them swell and melt away with the new petrol. One even when he replaced with correct NEW OLD STOCK. Love the tea break tinks Thanks.

Guys, gotta ask. What makes them so damn difficult to start? I know it’s 37 years but spark, air, petrol and compression doesn’t remember those lonely years..so from an engineering side, why so difficult.

If Craig has less work to do on this, does it mean it'll be cheap? Shout out to Paul, starting to relax into it, can't be easy with all the unseen eyes watching you (which probably hasn't helped). I think with this one, Blue could drag the dam thing off and chew the tyres in peace.

They're crackin' little bikes, but when they don't want to go, they really don't want to go. that one seems to have been rather more recalcitrant than usual, though. But though, if you'd been sleeping for 37 years, how keen would you be on waking up. For a bike that's slept that long, it's mint.

hello. thanks for the video. I would like some advice. I have to rectify my c90 year 1992. I am considering an original Japanese piston (tkrj 0.25) that is of an old design vs a Chinese piston of a modern design, with a short skirt, graphite, higher compression ratio. There are not many options on the market for this model. It is a motorcycle to work with.

i can start them 15 min dont matter how long its bean standing
