👀👀👀This a welcome surprise! I am so excited to see a fresh reaction the show that got me into anime. This series is so near and dear to me. The only thing that's different for me is the subs. I originally watched this in Eng dub.
mostly the same here. my intro to anime I credit to Yu Yu Haku sho and Ruroni Kenshin. But I had seen others before them just thought of them as cartoons (sailor moon/pokemon/yugioh/etc.). I to am amazed to see someone react to it. I hope it continues into the next gen with the newer series also.
I think this is one of the animes that holds up the best from that time. Not the only one that holds up well however just one of the few that holds up really well.
YESSS AHHHHH my favorite anime of all time! This first ED is actually one of my favorite EDs of all time. I've never forgotten that Ferris wheel. It's so funny that you immediately thought of SIT as the subjugation word XD Yeah Kagome has the ultimate ability of just rolling with fast changing situations
Oh yeah that's another thing I loved about this show is that Kagomay was a badass in her own right and that was in the 90s when female characters were very rarely a badass.
And the first episode has a whole hell of a lot like first it makes you think it's going to be all friendly and such forth with some action and then it's like wait betrayal in the first minute after the intro that made it seem like they were going to be working together
Welcome to the club. I've been loving Rumkio Taskashi's works since 2002 from mangas to anime. Most of them have really good english dubs! If you love this, check out Ranma 1/2 and "Return of a Lum" which is Returning with a new anime this year!
I watched this when I was younger. I mostly only remember the beginning and a few key episodes. I also remember seeing a lot of filler, but Google tells me it's only 35 episodes total for the whole series. Might just be the parts adult swim was airing at the time.
Can you react to Tribe Nine? I think it's the hidden gem of this season, the character designs are engaging, and the battle is really interesting, hope you can give it a try (sorry for my bad english ;/)
Also the good thing about the ending of this episode is that you could theoretically have as many episodes as you want moving forwards because it shattered into so many tiny pieces to where I mean you got to have episodes to find each piece or at least to find the first few and then you could literally have episode after episode where you skip time in between them looking and they find each individual one in follow-up episodes but there's so many that you can literally just pretend like there was another piece in another piece and another piece and that they were just so small that you didn't even notice them and then some of them were larger chunks to where you get a larger percentage of it together so you can have more of a level up in power.
To be fair as a kid I also watched Rocco's modern Life Ren and stimpy celebrity deathmatch South Park The Simpsons which claimed the family show but it's really not, Beavis and Butthead. Yes rocko's modern Life was aimed at kids however it was not a kid show Rocco literally worked at an adult xxx hotline and there were several other adult themed things like heifer got sucked off by another character and they were going to put hearts in his eyes thinking that the sensors would say no to it and they would have to cut it and instead the sensors only told them to put stars in the eyes instead of hearts to make it less obvious which didn't work whatsoever
There aren't many reactors who reacted to the show that I like the personality of so if you continue watching the show I would love to watch the reactions there were a few that reacted to it that like the personality of however they didn't react to more than a few episodes possibly due to low for your account up to you if it's worth it or not however I'm going to binge these few episodes that you have released so far
I'm late on this reaction. But indeed the show is a major classic. I hope you see the entire thing as the spin off sequel to this is currently out now. You'll love the characters in this, especially Inuyasha and Kagome.
Oh this is a kid show or at least it was for me like I watched it whenever it first came on toonami which was probably after it came out Japan however being from the United States in the 90s it was a little more difficult to watch stuff that was new in Japan. Honestly it might even have been adult swim and not even toonami I don't remember which one if it was adult swim at technically wasn't a kid show I just stayed up way too late and watched adult swim instead of doing what I was supposed to do and go to sleep so that I can be rested for school because I knew I could get the answers while still napping because school didn't challenge me.
As I recall, this shonen is from a female author. Ends up with some shojo vibes (unlike FMA). Not in the sense Miura speaks of with Berserk (seinen), either. You'll see for yourself. She likes her Mary Sue self-insert (that makes one of us **I feel like males more often disapprove of her among fans**). I've yet to see a reaction go the distance for this series even in P1. Not sure P2 is worth it given some of the mishandling (bastardized ending). Still, might be amusing if someone pulls it off. >romance focus Maybe. If so, will it be good about it?
