Wow man , I'm speechless , I clicked on a video real quick about some burnt up dirt bikes and ended up with tears in my eyes because of a family that just lost everything , prayers for your entire family and neighbors ... I'm glad no one was hurt ... You guys will bounce back , but , there is a lot to learn from your tragedy... Just know that people you don't even know from Lake of the Ozarks Missouri are thinking about and praying for you guys ....

I'm sorry that happened to you Clint, but I'm thankful that your pets are OK. I'm also thankful there was no loss of life. Thankfully I've never experienced a fire, but have experienced smaller losses, and they do shake you. I will say a prayer for you, your family, and your neighbor.

ive known 4 people that had there shops burn down from lithium batteries on chargers that catch fire. always put battery chargers inside steel shop cabinets. never leave batteries on tools as well.

I know what your going through my man!!! My house burned down February 6th 2022 at 10:00a.m. total loss including our animals 30+ years worth of belongings including ALOT of Mx memorabilia Mcgraph autographed jerseys Carmichael autographs Stewart autographs reed autographs etc etc plus I lost about 13 bikes insurance company SCREWED us we were not in the system under the correct policy that we thought we were paying for since the agent screwed up so I couldn't afford to replace anything etc I miss riding so damn much lol but I'll scratch together another bike some day just gotta be patient. You'll bounce back it sucks but you can do it!!!

I had a house fire in 2019 and it was a total loss. I know the outpouring of support will be dramatic but what I can offer more than anything is advice. I dealt with the insurance company totally solo and I know more about insurance and claims now than I ever wanted to. Please reach out if you have questions or need advice. I lost a quad and bike in my fire and sadly they normally do not cover them under home owners insurance. Unless they were used to "maintain" your property. Hit me up man, I truly mean it. I had so many questions and I wish someone was there to help me through it. I will make the time to help. Reach out and I can give you my cell # if you need it.

I come across these loses 30 times, if not more, a year. it's heartbreaking for the families, but I assure you your home will feel like home again eventually. reconstruction of fires can be long and stressful but the best thing for you to do is whoever is doing your reconstruction, let them handle the stress and headaches, and try to just stay relaxed. Hoping for a fast recovery of your home and contents and your family.

I wouldn't move anything that is burned until insurance pays. That way there are no issues. I know it sucks. I would start looking at house designs and who you want to build it etc

I'm glad you and yours are safe, that's what truly matters. I recently lost my mother after watching cancer slowly take her away from me. I had a garage fire in February and I lost my street glide and my 75 Elsinore my son's xr 50 my wife's crf125 big wheel and my 2020 crf450 works edition oh and my whole lively hood 😢. I never transferred it and didn't worry about it due to the landlord stating that I was covered. Well I'm not and I'm out nearly 100k. I'm glad your family is safe. Super bummed to hear this. In addition to "have good insurance", make sure you have insurance on the cost of replacement. Keep up to date with market increases as well. Ask about things in your garage, bikes, tools, etc. Go over things well with your company. When we relocated areas I made sure to have renters insurance for the place we rented for a year or so before we bought at again. Thanks for the tip on ALE.

I’m 42 now and when I was around 13 give or take a year my grandmother had a total loss fire. They lived way out in the country without a neighbor close enough to see or smell anything to call it in until it way too late. To save anything. They lived in an older but nice big farm house with a couple huge barns on the property. There farm was semi active. She had a big chicken coup with a bunch of chicken in it. I also remember another barn that had pigs. I want to say that they had some cows too. But this is so far back I can’t be sure. But not only did she have that house fire but fast forward another 15 years or so she has re married built a new life new pictures new memories and so on and I think you know where this is going by now. She has another total loss house fire. This time her 2nd husband has died and she lived 1500 miles from the rest of the family. She has since passed away. But she always told us grand kids that it’s just stuff and she is just glad that she didn’t have any of the great grand kids over to babysit. I guess just try to maintain that positive attitude that you’re showing in this video and be grateful it wasn’t the middle of the night and you were sleeping or something. Be glad that everything happened the way it did and somehow everyone was home early and you decided to go out to eat. There are so many but what ifs I get it. What if you were home and seen the fire when it was small and could have put it out and then it was just a close call. But then again what if you didn’t see it and you were home and something worse happened then just material belongings were destroyed m!!!!! You get the pound my man. Keep your head up. You’ll rebuild and in long run it will be nicer and I’m Guessing safer. Best of Luck to you buddy

Everybody understands that we have homeowners, things can be replaced but from what you have lost and what your neighbor has posted can't be replaced with money. The memories and valuables that can't be baught is what makes it worse. Hoping to see a good recovery but have to try and hunt down what people don't want to give up and deals come and go.

My friends also lost everything. They didn't have renters insurance. They had to start fresh, that same day I bought all the insurance and a fire safe for documents. You really never know.

A hard watch ,i hate to say it but could have been worse i too have thoughts about what if this happens etc ,and at the start i was thinking how is the dog etc are the kids safe ? My son and his family just went through the same tragedy and I was so shocked and proud of the way he handled virtually everything.
