The Notch Trail is a short hike, but for some the tall ladder and heights can be a challenge. Filmed with GoPro 7 in 2704x1520, up-converted to 4K for best viewing experience
Stumbled across your channel planning our summer hiking trips 😁, Badlands look amazing! Absolutely gorgeous shots on the trail! Hopefully we can still get there this year🤞🏼. Great video and channel sir👍🏼!
Thank you! Badlands is certainly worth visiting. We stayed at Sage Creek Campground and woke up with Bison/Buffalo's around us. But they kept their distance, and so did we :)
It is a very hard trail. You may be able to and think it is a cinch but this is a very strenuous trail for the masses. I did it today and even for some very great and seasoned hikers it was hard.
Hi, since youtube doesn't playback videos in the 2704x1520 resolution the closest 2 options are 3840 x 2160 or 2560 x 1440 so I decided to go with the 4K option since the original clips were recorded in a very high bit-rate. I have done a few test and in my opinion if you record a video for example in 1080p at a very high bit rate, you get a better youtube playback quality if you upload it in 1440p. It has to do with the bitrate limitations which you can find here support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en and then click on bitrate. The video editing software I started using last year is Filmora. I can highly recommend it. In the editor is converted the video to 4K
