Hey hey! Totally taking a dive into the 80s and using my amp for exactly what it's made for with this track! Do you wanna see more 80s stuff, or shall I do some more modern tracks?! Let me know! 🖤 🎸 Tabs Available Here :: bit.ly/3lvD6BE
Surely you mean the one good album...."Native Tongue" , which was basically a Ritchie Kotzen album, since he wrote, played arranged and produced it....oh yeah, he did ALL the instruments, AND all but the pilot vocal. If you mean that one, then yeah.
LMAO! Oh yeah…that one dude who played on that really boring album for Poison noodling on a tele. That’s his 15 minutes. 😂😂Dude can’t even sell out a dive bar or a high school gymnasium! 😂 No one will remember anything of him outside of being an asterisk sign.
One of the best guitar riffs from the 80's. Thanks for covering it. Song suggestion: Turn Up the Radio - Autograph It has one of the most memorable guitar solos ever.
He was great, but Bret Michaels brought in over half the (female) fans, and the songs are happy party songs, their whole image, it wasn't JUST CC. (I love CC's solos and sound though. :-)
I just love watching you play these songs. I know I can probably find others doing these covers, but none of them seem to enjoy playing them like you do. You always smile, and just know how to "feel" the music as you play it. Thank you for putting these out there for us. You rock! :-)
I love hearing the 80s material, because there was so much great amazing music. I love how you make each piece your own, while keeping the essence of the track
That smile at 2:55 says it all! Poison knows what's up... a celebration of life and rockin' out! CC Deville gets it, Sophie gets it! I still get that same feeling listening to Poison... Great job Sophie! Thanks for the "Good Time"
You nailed it. Very smooth and spot-on. That EVH and PRS sound great together but it is you playing them that makes it brilliant. Definitely more 80's music. I'm thinking "Monkey Business" or "Youth Gone Wild" would be right on time. Well done! 👏
A True Guitar Goddess! I am so blown away with your technical abilities and vast knowledge of music. Keep pumping these videos! Thanks for the Rocking fun!!!
Hey Sophie! Your Nothing But a Good Time cover absolutely rocks!!! I loved it. The amp tone is awesome, and as always, your playing is totally on fire! And you have the quality that everyone always talked about EVH having - you're always smiling and enjoying what you're doing so much that it just jumps out at you as much as the music! For my $0.02, I'd love to see more 80's stuff. So much material to draw upon, and would allow you to really showcase your playing style. Rock on!!!
This is so my era, brings back brilliant memories, I'm in the process of learning this, just go to get started on the solo now, you, however, have nailed it, I hope I can do half as good a job, Nice one. Lots more 80's please, how about Gypsy Road by cinderella?
CC got a lot of haters, i never understood why. I mean yeah early Poison was over the top, but so was the rest of the mid 80's and they were made for Mtv for sure.. But I always though CC's playing was always tasteful and I always thought a lot of his work had that old school Rockabily/Chuck Berry style with a lot of distortion. And he has always been the best part of a Poison live show. Great job w/ this.
Nice job, Sophie! That is a great tune of a pretty killer album! And as always, you nailed it. Those guys were a hell of a fun concert to see Wayback in the day. Keep it going girl you’re fun to watch.
Awesome cover! There are so many great 80's songs, like Bark at the Moon by Jake E Lee and Ozzy! Skid Row, even did a lot of great songs too. I remember you, was one of their best, besides 18 and life. The 2nd album has a great song on it called Wasted Time. Dokken, had a very fast song called Tooth and Nail, which is the song that blew me away. The other song that is very fast is called Night Rider, especially if you listen to it on their from concept album. They really alonggate the song getting the crowd into it and challenging the guys in the front and the guys in the back. See who's louder. There was always a friendly competition between Eddie Van Hallen, Randy Roads, and George Lynch. You can hear many similarities between all of them. I had listened to the whole Randy Roads tribute album. There is one song on it that was super long called Children of the grave, and Randy, does the same thing that Lynch did on the from conception album. You can just hear where the solo mr. Scary came from, because all of these artists borrowed from each other. They kept each other at the top of their game. The first time I heard, it was like who is this guy! Dio had some great songs as well, from last in line album called Mystery. That should keep you busy with some songs to learn.
Wow!!! Awesome job. One of my favorite songs ever. I used to air guitar this song as a kid and watching u play it brought back those memories. Thank u. Definitely a bright spot in my day.
Sophie, you are such a good guitar player, you're fun to watch and I just love your channel. You do songs that I love and just love watching you play! You go girl and keep rocking!
Dear Sophie, would it be possible to see you playing "Fallen Angel" from Poison? You played this one so amazing, wow. Please more 80s stuff, brings so many memories to me. Thank you, all the best from Germany👏
Awesome Sophie! Watched your other videos too and you have great control of your beautiful guitar. Very inspiring especially for me to practice more. Keep these videos going and rockin!
Just found you and just finished listening to that killer solo you done! I'm absolutely lost for words! That was badass. Also you sound like another great UK guitarist (not sure for certain cause aussies can sound very similar depending on where they are from)
