When i was young i played minecraft that my brother and sister use to play. We built tree houses and mountain bases. My brother and sister played this game before me. I played xbox 360 edition. They taught me how to play minecraft. Now we barely play.

You know, this video has made me realize. It’s okay to remember the past. But don’t get sucked in… live in the present. Hang out with family, friends play games. But remember that Minecraft always has a place and time for you to enjoy it.

We don't miss old Minecraft. We miss memories with old Minecraft. Laugh with friends, your first house, you first killed mob, your first building etc. It isn't just the game. It's the game game that built our childhood. It's a lots of memories.

I remember when I used to play minecraft all alone, I had wished my cousins could come and play with me, but they lived on the other side of the world. The only happiness I got was the feeling of taming a wolf. It was lonely back then, and I still am now.. I wish, I had someone there for me. This gives me a good feeling and idk why, it.. just feels like good memories when I don’t recall making any. Thank you for this, I am grateful. ❤

I'm a minute in and crying- child me is healing so slowly and this helps, I remember first playing this with my dad who never did anything with me and we played it for years until he just stopped which is what he always used to do and I played alone for hours wondering why, then me and my friends would play but they again it just stopped, I tried playing alone again but I felt I was to old to play it on my own and I haven't picked it up since- I'm so sorry little me [thanks for all the kind messages 💕]

Back in the day me and my dad used to play together on a XBox 360 when I was maybe 8. We had a house at the edge of a forest built out of cobblestone I believe. We had a nice little garden in front of the house with flowers along the front face of the house and trees artificially planted. There was a huge tunnel going all the way down to bedrock that you could access from inside the house. There were always all kinds of monsters in that big area we excavated down there including slimes and I was always afraid to go down there after an enderman chased me up the stairs. Behind the house was once a big mountain that we wanted to completely flatten with pickaxes and TNT. I think we got to a point of where there was only about 1/4 of the mountain left. On the flat area we built a large animal pen in which we held mostly sheeps. I still remember bragging about dad that I just found out about the fact that animals will despawn if they can wander further away than 20 blocks I believe so we had to make the animal pen smaller. We tried to build a round castle-like tower near all of that. Dad continued building it in the night and he attracted all of the mobs around him. All the creepers exploded and we had to rebuild a lot of the flat area and our house. I think we never got to finish that tower... I still have the XBox sitting in the basement, maybe the Minecraft disk is also still there somewhere. Might have to give it a try later

Im 18 and me and im pretty happy to say that still me and a lot of my friends play But still since I've been playing from 7 yrs old i have some amazing memories

This is gonna make me cry…. The first time I joined Minecraft was when I was 6 (I’m 15 now) and this just brings me back to my first house: a hole in a mountain, right next to a lava stream, which I thought was the coolest thing ever. I still play Minecraft, but this music by itself just gives off a different vibe. :(

Whenever I listen to Minecraft music I'm like "Damn, 2023. Time seems to be moving fast now, so much has happened. The world keeps changing, sometimes too fast for us to process. So much has changed and you never really seem to fully notice until you really sit and think about it, like Technoblades death. I still find it hard to believe but I know that what happened in the past cannot be changed. But it's the memories that make it seem better, we remember the important people in our lives or the important people who we'd watch play this amazing game. It's still so crazy to think about how much has changed and how many new things arrived. We will never forget the memories, I still remember the world where I built my first ever house, it sadly got deleted but I remember how cool I thought it was (it was made out of wood and cobble stone) Although the old days are gone, we have something better for the next generation to enjoy, but deep down we know that nothing beats the good ol'days. The nostalgia I get from this is so incredibly beautiful, and yet painful. I feel like i will never be happy the way I was when I was young, staying up late at my friends' house, friends who I haven't spoken to in years, and will never connect with again. Is it wrong that a part of me wishes I could just go back? I long to feel the way I used to.

Minecraft has been such an important role in my life. I'm only 16 but it means so much to me. It's seen so many stages of my life, lifted me through times of boredom or sadness, this is one of THE best games ever made.

Not everything is within our control, and trying to control every aspect of life can lead to stress and frustration. Learning to let go, accept uncertainty, and focus on what can be controlled is a valuable lesson

I still have a Minecraft CD it's very old now, now i feel like I'm going back to my old times ,i play with my sister like on the CD ,when I was young I play with my sister in 2018 or 2019.now it's 2023 and I feel sad because me and my sister are not playing Minecraft anymore so... Yeah... ):

Me and my little sister have been playing minecraft for 6-8 years. First when we were young doing random builds in creative, then me protecting her in survival. She'd make our house have good interior design, and make really creative builds, like floating lanterns and a ship-house in the air. I live a 24 hour drive away now. Every week we call, and discuss what happened in the recent Life SMP episodes (go check it out, super fun). I told her the best christmas gift she could give me is money to buy minecraft on my computer. I miss minecraft because of the game, but I also miss it because I'll probably never live in the same house as my sister again

i was playing minecraft on my xbox 360 for 5 years then the red ring of death

my sister and her friend got me into minecraft almost as soon as it came out. they would tease me because i didn’t know how to use a pickaxe or axe or sword or anything. now i’m better than anyone in my family, in building, redstone, range combat, and just plain playing the game: trying to survive. i’m probably the only one who still plays now. my sister is 22 now, and i’m 16. maybe one day i can reignite that flame in her soul, and we can play together again.

Almost everyday after school, me and my brother would either start a new world or go to one we'd been working on. We rarely ever got far enough to beat the ender dragon, but even back then it was fun just doing the old tutorial world over and over again. Then we starting doing more survival and more creative and started getting better at the game as we continued to play. Then, he slowly faded out of it over the next year or two. I still look back at the last time we played together, I don't care if we practically did the same thing every time we got on that world, but I enjoyed it. And since I rarely get to see him now, it makes me tear up a bit when I think about it, when I was still in elementary and he was still in middle school, we messed around and laughed and made fun of each other. I just wish we had more time.
