Nothing Can Prepare You For This Love Between Animal and Human! 

That's why I live in a horse pasture in my camper. My neighbors are about 30 TNR cats, 5 skunks, 3 raccoons, 7 rescue goldfish, a coyote, a mouse, a huge squirrel family (dysfunctional), 2 magpie, multiple bird flocks, a falcon, 4 horses and a bunny rabbit. The sad part is I don't get to pet and love on them, except the fish, I pet and play fetch with them. These critters are worth their weight in gold.1❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I don't trust anyone who chooses animals over people. I love animals too, but human interaction, as humans, is what we truly need.

Also, I grew up in a farming community. We had pet great-horned owls as the fellow at 3:49. (The game warden never caught us.) They like nose/beak rubs and LOTS of kisses! I never trusted our red foxes, but Emden geese, Mallard ducks, chickens of all sorts, turkeys, and even a pheasant like affection, as did our sheep, Lambchops, and horse, Nicholas. The blind Red Duroc hog, Porkybutch (named after a Disney character) I also never trusted. He had a set of jaws that would make an alligator jealous. I have slept in the winter with baby goats when it was negative 40 F outside. I never got any of the quail (Gamble's, Pharaoh, or Bobwhite) tame enough to cuddle. Of course, the 31 dogs, excepting Squire the highland collie (like Lassie from the 50's show), were all cuddly. One dog, a Terripoo named Miss Prissy, was a better mouser than most cats. Her mate, Odie, was so small that I dubbed him Uncle Mouse.

Amen. People who say that don’t know animals and their hearts are like a stone. They also don’t know God because He created them with their loving, gentle hearts. God loves His creatures deeply but we do nothing but destroy His precious, beautiful world.😢💔🙏🏻

Little girl asked me if I like kitties? Yeah, dad always had cats. Come see my kitty! Opens door, I walk into barn, she closes door to darkness. My eyes adjust to see this big cat walking against far wall from my left to right. He's looking at me. He starts to walk towards me. I can get out now! I've got to move to the door. Then I see how sad his eyes were. I stayed! He walks up to me, puts his mouth an nose right in my stomach. I lavish his with verbal affection.

For those of us who see love in all of its forms, we can still believe the word of God and easily extend that same belief while we relate to animals. Isn’t our dominion over animals something He gave to us? We are supposed to take care of lesser beasts among us. With the brewing evil and hatred in this world spiraling out of control, animals will forever be the same, people are what is changing.

I don't mind calling our critters our babies but I don't care so much for dressing them except for the weather or medical needs. Other people take great pleasure in it. Each to their own. Live and let live. Our opinions are our own, yes?
