They abandoned support for the first generation of CMF Watch Pro, leaving owners with unfinished firmware and a terrible GPS. Don't rush to buy the second generation.
@@kindofanmol mine does work fine. But it keeps disconnecting from the app. Requires opening the once a day. Plus there is no step history on the application..

Real man. Calling it a smartwatch is a bit of a stretch given it doesn't have WearOS. It's nothing better than those smart bands in terms of capability.
if i am being honest, either save up for a little more expensive and capable smart watch or if youre into the whole nothing brand just wait for them to release a more premium smartwatch, for now youre better off holding off on this (unless you just really like the brand and or look)

in the first model to choose the personalized watch face you could only choose one image if you wanted another you had to delete the other one so every time you had to install one, is this thing still there?
How sturdy are the straps, I had a Redmi watch where I had to replace the straps multiple times and finally one day the watch just fell off my wrist exactly same issue with the Redmi smart band. I am leery of buying a smartwatch since then. Will this watch's straps hold up to rough use?
I personally prefer the first gen as the bezel on this one is too thick for me personally and doesn't really contribute to anything apart from the design (correct me if I'm wrong)
My og watch pro's is facing ghost touch & activity tracking issues after it got wet in rain and SC denied replacement citing water damage isn't covered. I usually wore it 24x7...even when bathing before that for 6 months of using but this did not happen. The companion app and the watch disconnect when out of range and has to be reconnected manually that too needs internet to login. The companion app is pure crap and watch's experience is also disappointing. They never cared to fix these.
where is the review ? does it support apple fitness and other tracking app ? Did they fix the software issues of watch 1 ? what is the accuracy of the sensors ? this video covers jackshit
The CMF watch has no means to import/export fitness data and also the dial without any temper glass protection makes any sense? So much for a company that claims to design premium products at a not-so-premium price 😂
What kind of interoperability is there with other activity trackers? I basically want to know if it can feed workouts into NikePlus, Runkeeper and/or Apple Health. I kind of assume it feeds into the Health app but that's no use for Nike because they don't like interoperability. Oh, and controlling music/podcasts on the phone (Overcast FM), that's pretty much the two things I would miss most from the Watch. I've had an Apple Watch for 4/5 years, it'll cost me £160 to change the battery at this point and I'm considering this as its replacement. I'm most inclined towards to the idea of not having to charge it literally every day but I don't want to lose connection to all the running apps I've used since 2009. I'm probably going to retire my NikePlus account within the next year, once I reach the Black run level, I'll die long before I can reach the final level so I'll be happy to sack it off at that point.
@@igyaan Thanks for the info. Can't believe the data doesn't feed into Apple Health from its own app though. Seems like it would be a no-brainer a the APIs are public.
Indeed on the website it mentions : Sync and manage your fitness data seamlessly across Apple Health, Google Health Connect and Strava . This must be available at a later stage possibly at the time of sale, since we have pre release units this is not presently available, at least in our unit .
@@igyaan Hmm, probably too much to expect Nike+ integration. I assume media controls are just limited to what's already playing on the phone in that case. Not a dealbreaker. Maybe there's some hack involving shortcuts that can be used to activate specific media applications. I might take a punt on it and just use the Apple Watch for workouts until I cut Nike out of the dependency chain.
@@redfive02, I already did. The thing is, finding the right one is a bit tricky because the magnetic pins must have specific polarities for the charging to actually happen. I do have two cables and they are of no use.
