I hear you. I will say, however, that it is a very thin case and honestly does make sense considering the design of the buds themselves. The only other design I can think of would be a square case with two flip-tops and that just seems like it would be more troublesome than helpful.
It is weird my comments got deleted. I was saying if this reviewer was sponsored by Nothing company since his review was very bias. I've had this Nothing Open for 3 days, real time usage was about 7 hours total. 3 hours straight use in the Airplane. it's about the sound quality that Brian said since his expectation was so low and he love the sounding of this earbuds. It is just average to my ears or worse than the new Aipords 4. I love the design of it but that's about it. I've owned 3 different Nothing buds from the 1st, 2nd gen Nothing buds and this Open has the worst sounding of course it's the open style. but I totally can't agree that this has the clarity. Maybe this reviewer's been using some Chinese knock offs. The price should've been around 100 bucks since it's made by Nothing. I wis this review was more honest and accurate. But feeling about the sounding is very subjective so everyone's ears are different I guess. :)
Your comments got flagged as spam so I had to manually approve them. Nothing was deleted. I don't know how or why you'd call this video biased. I'm always very upfront and always disclose when products were sent for review and/or if I'm ever compensated to make a video. This video was not sponsored and I disclosed that I received the Nothing Ear (open) earbuds to check out. I think you're confusing the purpose of these Nothing Ear (open)s. They are not meant to compete with your typical in-ear style earbuds. They are specifically meant to allow you to still hear everything going on around you - that, in and of itself, is the challenge with OWS earbuds: i.e. making them sound good while still maintaining their OWS design. I'd suggest you look further into why these were made specifically for this purpose and why I think they sound great for their design. Also, how did you test these out if they haven't even been released yet? As far as I know, only pre-release review units have been sent out to tech reviewers.
definitely sounds like a sponsored video. like some promotional video the company itself would make. about battery he just stated what the company claims.
Not sponsored. I always disclose when a video is. The battery life is always subjective. Some listen soft, some listen loud. The louder one listens, the worse the battery life but not everyone listens loud so I provide the battery life with average listening settings.
A $150 pair of open ear headphones with no LDAC? These should be sub $100 max, You'd also think they would want to try to have the highest audio codec quality for these thing to give us sound quality, I just doubt that the sound quality is as good as you say it is
You don’t need LDAC on an open ear pair or earbuds. You’re more than welcome to buy your own pair and test them if you don’t want to take my word for it on the quality.
@itstheBMAC I didn't ignore you, more like you didn't read my reply correctly, but the more you defend these headphones the more I feel your a shill and none of your opinions are unbiased opinions
You clearly don't know me and are new to the channel. That's OK. If you weren't, you'd never come to that conclusion but you're free to have whatever opinions you want.
I had chance to try out this ear buds. It looks like this guy was sponsored by Nothing company since his review on the sounding is so bias. or expectation was way too low like some cheap Chinese knock off earbuds or something. The sound quality wasn't really impressive, in fact the new Airpods 4 was so much better than this for my experience. I had this earbuds for 3 days and I at least listened to this for over 7 hours total including 3 straight hours in the airplane. I think the price should've been like 99 bucks or 100 bucks. It's more realistic price considering this is made by Nothing. I still own the first and the second gen Nothing buds and the CMF buds pro 2. and this Nothing open has the worst sounding. Well all the models I have except the second gen nothing buds is just OK. Oh, one more thing to note here is that the clarity isn't there. I don't know why this reviewer said it has clear sounding. maybe compared to some Chinese knock offs?
As I said in my other comment, I was not sponsored by Nothing. I always disclose when a video is sponsored and I always disclose when I was sent a product to check out. I'm curious how you were able to test these out before they were officially released? You're comparing these earbuds to other earbuds that are of a completely different style. I specifically talk about this in the video but it seems you've decided to just skip over or completely ignore that part, which is a shame.
Love open ear headphones oladance got me into them and I haven't stopped buying pair after pair after pair ... Want these so bad but I'm going to regret my purchase of they release a black version of them..... QUESTION is the logo a small LED display or just print under the clear plastic?
I hear you on that! From what I know, there are no plans for a black color version any time soon. The logo, by the way, is just print. I hope this helps!
The AirPods are an intentionally different design providing an intentionally different listening experience. You really can’t compare them. These are OWS earbuds. The AirPods 4 are not.
