Yall have to remember luffy is rubber. That does not make him immune to attacks butg it does nullify them in a way. Luffy's pain was amplified when taken in by zoro's body due to luffy not experiencing it the same way.

Luffy being a rubberman has natural shock absorption. So he wouldn't feel pain or fatigue like most people which is why he can tank so many shots.

People usually forget that this is not only pain, but also fatigue and damage. Luffy took all that, but being made of rubber, his body could take much more fatigue and damage than human muscles.

It's also the fact that we truly don't know what happened, we got a taste, just as Zoro did and then we were left with "nothing..happened". We can all use our imaginations on the pain, but all that is a difference (btw every single persons pain tolerance of knowledge) and that plays on our enjoyment of the scene and writing. Here's a fun question : Let's say for some reason Sanji got his way and made the deal with Kuma instead of Zoro. Who thinks he would have gotten KO'd from the first "taste" Kuma gave Zoro, and who thinks he would have been able to take it.

Fire anime? Claymore for me is the best. OT: It's not the pain Luffy goes through, he's rubber. The sum of all the damage in the end is about that, but the impact on Luffy is not as profusely because the rubber absorbs some of the damage that he can't feel but does accumulate over time, also the impacts are covered over a prolonged time which offers some degree of recuperation. Zoro got that all at once and although he may be extremely strong, he's ultimately just flesh and blood, let alone already hurt and fatigued. And then "Nothing happened!", as to not make Sanji and the rest worry more than needs to be while his blood was mostly on the ground than in his body is morphed greatness! That entire scene is nothing short of colossal.

Zoro doesn't say "Nothing happened" but "Nothing(nanimo ) , got it ( wagata ) ? " ... which is why u see Sanji afterwards stopping the 2 dudes from telling everyone what Zoro did !!!

I literally start to follow one piece manga at the 50th volume, where this event happens, and that's why i fkin love zoro!!!!

Zoro is the navy seal, seal team 6 of the group. Taking the most dangerous missions, sacrifice himself for his fellow man and never taking credit. Zoro is so badass, i would watch a whole series about him where he plays dora the explorer. I would watch a second series, where he opens a dojo and teaches his kid the way of the sword and a 3rd series just him going through opponents in order to become the strongerst ever!

Zoro took the pain Luffy endured throughout the whole arc i think, But the important thing is that Zoro can hardly open his eyes. Because he too was taking a beating from all the fighting. And he took it all at once. Not to mention Luffy's body is rubber. So the pain is less to him than to others. But Zoro still took it all at once adding to his own pain and suffering... He is the greatest Vice Captain in One Piece.
