I'm thinking about buying one, but i have a question. If you don't mind me asking Does it get super hot when you game on it? And how often do you charge it?
@@Userrrrrrrr-28 I'm using the phone 2 since last 2 weeks and I'm loving the os! The battery backup is good and you'll get constant 60fps on games like bgmi and 90fps on cod and those which supports those fps. There is no such heating issues, Not at all.
@@Userrrrrrrr-28 No at all ,I game pubg/bgmi and it will get a little warm near the flash area when u play for almost 2 hours. I use this about 6-8h a day and the battery will be btwn 20-30% by the end of my day.If u are a previous pixel user then next closest and smoothest thing is this phone. If u want gcam for this device I could share it with u it works amazing
Like NP1, NP2 is a good phone but Cameras and Speakers are neither bad nor amazing: Ok instead of Good or Great. Outside of that, this phone has everything and i don't understand haters: that's non sense. I own a NP1 and yes Glyph are a little bit gimmick but main thing is that Glyphs give a signature for this new brand : no need to hate.
i was one of the very early phone 1 users and i actually recived a defective pice where the back panal was loose from one corner so water could esily go inside the phone it didnt affect much so i didnt bother with exchanging it few months ago on a trek i fell in a river multipe times and it was heavily raining so the phone was soaking wet in my pocket for 3-4 hours it was funtoning mostly fine with no major issue even tho i COULD LITTRALLY SEE WATER INSIDE OF THE PHONE after a week when the water dryed out it started funtioning completely fine. after that i exchanged it for the phone 2 and even in the testing of the exchange they didnt notice anything wrong with the phone 1 considering all this if my phone glass was glueed properly it would have been completely fine so u can have the peace of mind😁
I am a Oneplus 6 user currently with a custom rom & If this phone had 8gen2 I would buy it today . I am now waiting for the Oneplus 12 . I hope the nothing guys come up with flagships soon . All the best Carl
@@QboyRuLz the user experiance is so nice, also the latest Android version, and highrefreshrate and brighter display... you'll feel the real difference.. also you'll get around 10 k+ exchange value depends on your phone condition..
I don't know why people hating on this phone.... Every phone has some pros and cons.... Specially at this price range.... This phone is a complete package... Battery life, software experience and a really good camera.... This phone gives an experience which you can see after using it only
It's not a bad phone, it's just badly priced. It's not worth the price. Features are just ok, nothing wow, and you get basically no support, since it's still a relatively new company.
@@jerrylai794 are you fed up with recurring android experience that all phone company provide ? Are you looking for a better battery phone that can hold till end of the day ? Are you looking for an esthetic phone that feel really good ? Are you looking for a better performance phone for daily use? Are you looking for a new android experience ?. Then go for Nothing Phone 2. It's gonna make you feel cool and happy. Everyone asked me to buy s23 or Iphone but my mind said, give a try to nothing 2. I did and i am happy with that choice.
These are the bads: 1. At this price point no charger when they just started a company. They are following the same trend as a big player yet want to have a soft corner in consumer minds saying we are small company 2. I get it, price is high but they should have justified it with telephoto lens 3. HDR not supported on Netflix and Prime. And and calling this phone premium 😂😂 4. Camera samples are not great. Even OnePlus 11R has better pictures from main cam. Too much contrast 5. Selfie 60 fps videos in most of the reviews were so jittery that you can't use it, however, no one talked about it 6. Speakers are weak at this price point The only good part is software and performance.
They have a valid reason for (3) To get HDR support in Netflix the company must agree pre-install the app in the phone But they chose to keep it bloatware-free It's not nothing's fault, companies like Netflix take advantage of phone companies hoping to get more subscribers Let's be honest - no phone is perfect Nothing isn't good at some stuff but others aren't at some either Even at this price it's a pretty good phone
@@fakech again you agreed when they tried to fool you with lame excuses. Pixel doesn't come with Netflix pre-installed and supports HDR. Not sure now about OnePlus but my OP 7T supports HDR in all OTT and these apps were not pre-installed.
I want this phone for the software and the performance/battery life lol The camera at least I have a decent one I'm ok with that I'm not a professional photograph or idk. EDIT: I've get in the past months a S22 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro and an iPhone 13 Pro so I know what to expect
The camera is fine.. none of you shoot professionally and so no phone shoots in FX so why do Ytbers keep beating a dead horse? you need something to compare it to and pixel7 aint it.
its not the 8gen2 because NO ONE HAS OPTIMIZED IT. The reason Nothing went to this gen1 is because its been optimized and proven stable. Im only :36 into this garbage review and I already hate the police. now i hate android cops even worse.
Lmao the weakness ain't even weakness at all, if u don't like the glyph or find it gimmicky then u shouldnt get the phone in the first place. I think the camera is fine, I don't see any issue with the verizon as I lived in Singapore and have both 4g and 5g. And also any phone that drops into the way will spoil if soaked for long. Even high ipx rating phones I used in the past also spoiled when got into water so I don't see any issue as long as u take care of your phone. As for the price, I think the price is quite reasonable for the design and specs as I find other brand phones really really boring and plain and it's just copy and paste. And don't come and tell me abt the price when there are tons of people out there buying phones that cost 2k, I'm talking about u Samsung and apple users.
bruh I'm using the nothing phone almost two years now, and the optimization they put in to these phones is insane, although the battery is a bit deteriorated the performance is almost as the day I bought it❤
No, nothing at all. The only confusing thing for me is that the Glyph still works in Do Not Disturb mode by default, but your phone doesn't show any messages. But you can disable that.
I absolutley love this phone, only thing I hate is that the glass got scratched in a few days, I can only see it when turned off and sun shining but I still hate it, besides that its perfect a 9/10 in my eyes!
@@arithmetic7105you get three years of Android updates and fours years of security updates - not just two. Also the refresh rate is 120 hz which is higher than average for phones in the price range.
A short video consisting of everything, perfect. One more negative I would add is the lack of some very amazing features which an enthusiast brand should focus on like spatial audio support and HDR support on Netflix and other OTT platoforms. After all it comes down to the user's priorities, and what they expect from a phone. This is good for those people who want something new and unique but not the best for those looking for a feature-rich smartphone
Nothing phone 2 user here and it's only gotten better with time. It's perfect for what I need in a phone. Software is great, performance is fantastic, battery life is amazing!( I get 6-7 hours all the time) And the camera is more than good enough and has gotten better. I used to have a Pixel 7. I'm very happy with it.
Price Range as a Minus for Review should not be a Criteria. Price Calculation is always based on Marked distribution. Where do i want my Phone to have the most Up-Sale? Where there is a Majority of Apple sales or Samsung? Or where the marked is more mixed? Plus taking in account Taxes and Shipment cost witch are roughly 15% Higher than last year.Price value, there are very few Phone Out there which are really better on a scale 1 to 10 Points where 10 is same Price but Double the Feature.
3:12 - it will work on verizon in LTE, 4G and 5G... its literally in the settings. I am running Verizon and my phone2 works fine. being certified on a network doesnt make it any more special. This phone works on ALL US based carriers. Try again.
