Dude! I love this track! 20 something years later and it still pops up in my head regularly. It's a crime that it still doesn't have a remake. The multiplayer alone... when my young zoomer Fortnite-kid cousins visit now, they have just as much fun as we did in the early 2000s.
I love to hear that! I have an extreme soft spot for Bomberman games, with 64 / Second Attack being ones I remember really well. And clearly, their music is great! I've had making another remix of Bomberman on my mind for a while, and I've been floating between going back to one of those two or alternatively Bomberman Tournament, another childhood favorite I owned.
I can't fully express the confusion I felt when the boss AI threw me back into the center of the ring, I thought for sure I'd have to rerecord that portion lol But thank you! I'm glad there's fellow BM64 fans out there who appreciate the game getting a little love from me.
Thank you! X4's soundtrack is actually a great influence on my overall style, that combination of synth leads and rock guitars has been something I've loved for ages. Really been working on my sound design to nail that type of profile!
Considering how much of a pain at least Artemis was for the gameplay video, you'd think bad guys would team up on ol' Bomberman more often! That would be truly hectic, haha. But with that said, using a big bomb to take all three to the cleaners *would* be pretty cool!
Aw, thanks! This is a song I've listened to countless times throughout my childhood, so now that I'm capable of using a DAW for music I really wanted to give it a try for a remix. I'm glad you like it!
I always found that curious! They really wanted to give her the special treatment, haha. That said, the line *is* incredibly iconic to me because of that, so I guess it worked!
Oh yeah, you mean during the intro cutscene, correct? That brings back memories, I really enjoy the song from that portion as well. The build up in the beginning leading to the main tune is something I have imprinted on my mind by this point.
I love those songs! Altair 2 is so good, I wish it had a longer natural loop. ...but on the other hand, that *does* mean I have plenty of wiggle room to give it my own spin! I've got a couple of projects under the hood currently, but that really does sound like a good time. I'll have to put it on the docket!
