Thank you for this wonderful instructional video! You do such an excellent job! Only 1 question: what do you use the "number of times a meal has been planned" property for? Thanks.
Hi, you’re welcome! Do you mean “# in 7+ days”? At first it was just for my information, but I’ve added some new views to my ingredients and groceries list to help me prioritise which groceries to buy, i.e. if I’m making the meal in the next few days. I’m working on that tutorial now and will publish soon :-)
hello, I love this video, I want to ask, I just realized that I cannot type fractions in the tables, do you know how I can do that? I need to write some ingredients in fraction, thank you!!!
@@adrienne9757 I see, in case this is useful to you...I solved the fraction problem by adding more units, this is: if i want 1/4 kilogram, well I can type 250 gr instead. About the formulas, I understand they changed the language recently, thats why the exact same formulas she uses in this video wont run properly, you can check the notion page to see these changes c:
I'm wondering if I could add a database that would track meal preps from my freezer. So I often bulk cook and plan around that wonder where I could add in to see what's in my freezer and add to meal plan - does that make sense.
Great idea! Rather than add a whole new DB I’d add properties to the recipes database: 1) a checkbox for ‘bulk recipe’, 2) a date for ‘date prepped’, 3) a number for ‘# prepped’, 4) a formula to work out how many are not used in a meal plan yet. This would require deleting previous weeks. I need to think about the formula a bit more… I’d then create a new view of recipes filtered for just the checked ‘bulk recipe’ property. I’d have that view open as a split screen while you’re meal planning. You can use a button to achieve this!
