This was super helpful and detailed! I tried following along on the phone app but when I selected add a page to create the Content Template the tags and other options weren’t there. I’ll play around with it on my laptop later tho. Thanks again!

I started playing with Notion after your last video - then I got stuck when I tried to link things together - but now I get it! Social media planning has always been awkward for me - I struggled to plan in social media scheduling apps, but also struggled getting my ideas from a paper planner to the computer. I have watched several tutorial on Notion in Facebook, but they never went into creating the templates. This is going to be a gamechanger for me. This is exactly what I have been looking for and I just want to thank you so much. I'm only about a month 1/2 in on creating content, and doing it by the day is not the way to go. I knew there had to be a way in notion to build something out that you could just fill in the blanks over and over again. I'm so excited! Going to go watch your next video on creating content now. I have never ever sat down and worked step by step with any youtube tutorial as I have with you Sara. It has taken me 3 days to complete as I curated it to fit my client portfolio. In some timeline I would slow you down to playback speed of 0.5x just to get right😅. Looking forward to the next as I also want to add in financials, client documentation and my pitch decks too. I love, love your notion videos. You are so thorough and make it so easy to follow. I learned about notion from your last video and watched you on my laptop while I set up my notion on my desktop. I have something for your youtube brainstorming... I wish you would make a video on how you setup your google docs every time you start a new novel. Excellent video, thank you! I run into a challenge though from about 10min 26sec. I couldn't see where you clicked on a "+" sign (your head was covering the mouse pointer), so I am not sure whether I created a new sub-page correctly via the left sidebar ("quickly add a page inside"). Probably I miss something: Because the newly created subpage gives me the option to give it a name and a icon. But I can't find "Tags" "Date" and "Empty". Also no "+ Add a property". What am I missing?

omg I am so stuck on how to create a template! I've even slowed it right down but I don't get the same options as Sarah. Everything else is amazing! Maybe Notion has had an update? When I type in /temp I get an option to add button instead.

Yes they did change it but the button is still the template! You just create the button and add the stuff you want inside your page template there. Give the button a name and every time you click the button it will populate the template!

what if i wanted to create a page with all of my archived posted content, how do i do that?

I can't get the individual databases (I have a different one for pen names, so a different calendar for each) to only show what is scheduled for that pen name, if that makes any sense. Instead of everything showing up together only on the master calendar, it all shows up on every calendar. I don't know how to make the content for each separate calendar stay separate. Any ideas as to what I might have done to make everything show up on every calendar? Thank you again - I love Notion and this template is fantastic.

I love this video, it was so helpful. For me I can't create a template within a template, when I type ( /template) it doesn't come up as an option. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

If you want to create a template inside your template, I think you just need to be on a fresh page with nothing on it and then + new template will appear for you. But you have to backspace until there's no content on that new page at all. Let me know if that helps!

can you connect that calendar to your google calendar?

I don't think so, which is a drag. I think you can kind of import your google calendar into Notion but only as a snapshot and a link. But I also don't know a lot about Notion still, so it's possible I just don't know how to do it!
