Denbrock will not run a spread Offense.. he will adapt his O with the talent on roster & it will very versatile & hard to defend...along with Top 5 Defense returning.. this should be exciting season! Go IRISH 🍀

Jac was getting better in year 2…. but still not ready for prime time ND play by play. Wish Tircio would come back. Or even Brees was excellent… Speaking of Collinsworth - I’ve never liked Chris as a broadcaster. He biased in his coverage. Broadcaster HOF my vote for GOAT is Keith Jackson!
Nebraska gave up on the Triple Option run game years ago and has sucked ever since. Wisconsin brought in Luke Fickle and his 3 points a half Air Raid offense. ND will suffer with a new offense. The spread is an OK, but look at what Michigan did last year with a multi look run 50/50 split while controlling games with an 70-30 run play advantage.
The scheme isn't as important as who's calling it and how they're creating/exploiting mismatches.. Denbrock is the consummate coaching vet, whatever he decides to do will be successful and not necessarily written in stone as far as offensive schemes go anyway. Bill Callahan, Bo Pellini and Mike Riley have much more to do with why Nebraska's once vaunted offensive attack has been derailed for decades now and why the program is in a general state of perennial embarrassment. Everyone scrapped their option offenses sometime between 1990-2003 or so, everyone except the academies and later Georgia Tech after hiring Paul Johnson. Wisconsin brought in a hot commodity in Phil Longo and that offensive transition will take some time due to the dramatic nature of the changes involved with the makeover there.. 1 season isn't enough time to judge pass or fail there. I personally feel that Wisconsin made a mistake switching from their OL-driven recruiting model and power-run game focused offensive philosophy but only because I feel that Wisconsin will struggle to bring in the necessary perimeter talent on offense to make an air raid scheme work there.. but I digress from my point here. Our beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program is in good hands and on both sides of the ball now. Good times ahead my friend. 💪🏽☘️😉
