First opening as a church was anticipated before the games as far as we know. They mighr stick to it for a limited amount of mass. But full opening to visit will be done after the games as anticiped per now, simply because there are reworks that were planed before the fire that still need to be done, new rework inside that will still need to be done. because of the fire and new rework they added as an opportunity ...
@renzo6490 Mostly from the combine work of several archeologists and historian teams, and a very important researcher who worked almost a decade to numerise the whole cathedral and died in 2018 (thence before the 2019 fire) : Andrew Tallon from Vassar College. His work is now considered fondamental for the reconstruction
Absolutely nothing is the same, they are just building a copy of what Nothre Dame was before, it doesn’t matter if the original builders came back to life and build this church all over again, still wouldn’t be the same, so is crazy for this person to say that this church is gonna be exactly as it was before 😂
