Thank you so much for posting!!! I don't know how I'll sleep tonight waiting for kickoff. This will be my first of 53 years not watching an opener with my father (passed in April). So, tears as I repeatedly watch your post.
John I feel for u I lost my Father in 2000 there was never a greater ND fan am sure your Dad was to just remember as I do when watching the game he is always there beside you watching to that ND Spirit lives forever in all of us
I'm sorry for your loss. I'm an alum who lost my ND-loving dad less than two years ago and for some reason tonight, I'm acutely feeling his loss in anticipation of the game. He's the reason I went there and we were exceptionally close. I direct my mind to the immense gratitude I feel for having him. Try to remember that the ND experience you shared with him is sacred and that his spirit is still with you during the game. Sending you prayers for strength and Go Irish🙏
@@justineking7 Thanks for sharing. It really does help. We are clearly in the same boat... Just four months in and experiencing so many "first time" without him momenta. Its tough. In the sense of ND - home game pep rallies, grotto, morning mass, etc.
@@jasonh5547 Thank goodness for all the players ND has put in the NFL #1 of any school in History of College Football or the 7 Heisman winners or the most Hall of Fame players both Pro and College the most All American players 97% graduation rate of all scholarship players c'mon Bama u lead in one category and ND is #2 there where are u in all the others in the rear view mirror. Don't get me wrong Saban has done a great job while he has been there but over history Bama has a long way to go to catch ND

Just watched notre dame in the sun bowl. Was never a big fan, but what a classy orangization, theyve changed my perspective on them from the fans, the way the players carried themselves and the coaching staff and of course the great band
