What a game man. No doubt this was one of the greatest First Four games in NCAA history as well as one of the greatest March Madness games we've ever seen. What a game played by both teams! Was kind of hoping that they went to 3OT lol
Being an Irish fan what a freaking game but props to Rutgers. Watched the press conference and I felt for those Rutgers kids, very impressive on and off the court and will be keeping an eye on that program in the Big 10 in the future.
This IS more heartbreaking than the X's breakup. And will, with no doubt take longer to heal. Always have been and always will be a Rutgers fan through thick and thin. GO RUTGERS !!
I didn't extend my recording far enough. Came here to see the result and how the OT finished, learned it went to Double OT. Wow. This game was amazing.
Brey did wonders with this team and should have been the ACC Coach of the Year. He had them playing their best ball when it counted, especially after a very slow start to the season. They came within a big basket of beating Texas Tech and making the Sweet 16.
To hear the sports announcers calling the game they were obviously for Rutgers..were not very neutral 1st half. I watch a lot of games with the sound off or barely on so I can hear the shoes squeak and enjoy the game like I am there in person.
These boys play their hearts outs! Both teams! If there is no reason to really cheer against a team it is hard seeing a team lose and you do feel bad for them. Great win for ND.
When looking at the bracket I KNEW this game would be crazy. This ND team is so good when people don’t necessarily expect them to be 💯💯 I think ND could be a sleeper team to upset some people this tournament
@@LamontJackson I picked them to get past Alabama in the first round for sure cause I don’t trust that Bama team at all, but if they gotta play Texas Tech in Round 2, I think we could see another game like this one
I’m almost certain from looking at it again that the player thought he heard his coach say “foul” but it must have been someone else in the crowd. Most likely nerves got to him and he fouled because he heard it from someone.
I don't understand why 11 seeds gotta play to get in. If you're better than 16 seeds, then the 11 seeds should bump down the 12 to 13s, 13s to 14, and only 16 seeds play in. There's NO WAY either of these teams should be bumped out already.
Ron Harper Jr and Geo Baker with huge shots. Notre Dame were good at driving to the hoop and rebounding But, the inbound at the end of OT? The foul down 1 with 40s left in 2OT? And not calling timeout with 1.4s left? I don’t understand
Both teams going back and forth, so many unbelievable shots! Notre Dame showed more heart than I have seen them show all year! But they are a good team, you don't "WIN" 22 games and be second in the ACC if you are not a good tested team. Both teams played well, my hats off to both teams! Is this what March Madness is going to look like this year? Well, let's go! What a start!
Please someone at Rutgers tell Omoruyi that he does not have to dunk every time. He could easily add 5.0 ppg if he learns to simply lay it up softly time to time.
Rutgers tried to call a timeout right after ND took the lead in 2OT. Refs missed it, they could’ve drawn something up and planned a little better rather than just throwing it in and hoping for something. But props to ND and Rutgers, it was a great game
I’m pretty sure based off what I watch in the game they have to pass half court before they call a timeout. I’m not sure but I didn’t see that happen a few times last night for both teams
The more I watch the highlights it doesn’t look like they tried to call a timeout. It looks like Harper is just calling for the ball but I could be missing something.
This was an incredible game but you guys did a terrible job on the highlight video. You hardly had any Rutgers highlights in the first 2 halves and you left out a lot of big plays. Please work on this
