All chaos breaks loose when the Mighty Nein is ambushed by goblins in the middle of the night. This is a funny little moment from that fight... Enjoy :) Where else to find me: Twitter: / ignidraws Instagram: / ignidraws
You can imagine Jesters panic, she saw a friend go down and her healing not working, as far as she could tell her friend was dying and she couldnt do anything to stop it
When Jester freaks out that Caleb is dead and tries to heal him, only to freak out and get more emotional is honestly the moment that inspired all these WidowJest ships, lol.
I believe this was on the way to check on the Gentleman's safehouse in Berleben, in Ep 19. It's the same fight where Yasha uses her Necrotic Shroud for the first time.
I love how the animatic acknowledges what was never addressed in the show - that Jester actually healed off the wound from the huge arse javelin sticking out of Caleb's torso at that time.
If you want a bunch of idiots playing D&D (and Blades in the Dark), I highly recommend Oxventure. Five clueless morons who have no prior D&D experience.
Can we just acknowledge how desperate and panicked she actually sounded when she thought it didn’t work. That’s just amazing in its self. Also awesome animation.
It's my understanding that, to an extent, charisma is how attractive you are. sure a good chunk can be how you carry yourself, but it's fairly common for people to be more willing to listen to etc someone who looks better.
@@otbaht to be fair she is a goblin and goblins aren't known to be the nicest of species so even if she was super cute I doubt people would stick around to find out. Just because snakes look cute doesn't mean I'm going to trust going near a cobra if you get what I mean.
My character got stabbed by a rogue with a poisoned knife that puts you to sleep after she watched it knock out an npc. She was really trying not to hurt the guy because he was a player's father we were tracking down. She made a successful saving throw against the poison, but realized he was stronger than her so she just....played possum. Unfortunately, our Dragonborn rushed into the clearing immediately after, saw my elf looking dead on the ground, and instantly freight trained at the rogue in a rage. So uh, whoops.
I had something similar happen where a player and his NPC father were pulling off a playing dead trick. So the Father "killed" His son, and then the Warlock, who was quite infatuated with said son, showed up.... And his player went "Well....Aldelphion has no idea that this is actually a plan so....." So que the Eldritch blast followed by....Hurl through Hell. To this day I laugh at the very Idea. "Yeah so me and my son had this great plan to trick this group I was forced into debt to....everything was going well until his Warlock boyfriend or whatever showed up and HURLED ME THROUGH THE 9 HELLS!"
This art style is really appropriate for jesters character, the only problem is we want all the jester and nott scenes so the others might get left out a little.
I’m sort of in the middle in that I see her as kind of “ugly cute.” When you first look at her she’s a goblin and therefore terrifying, but the more you talk to her, she just comes off as adorable and mischievous.
I really love your Artstyle, you captured those Moments perfectly. Thank you it was really beautiful and funny to watch all these Clips :D Especially your Jester looks so cute. Which might be complemented by her beeing Jester xD
Thinking back I don't think Nott/Veth nor Bren/Caleb ever explained any of their preset plans to the others of the Mighty Nein. I'm also thinking that none of them were really preplanned but made up on the spot and Liam and Sam are just really good at improving off each other.
Do you really think... that Liam and Sam, OF ALL PEOPLE~! Were going to just make it all up on the spot? They have the most in-depth backstories of the entire Nein (at least in terms of marrying it with the narrative), and there are always examples of "I'm not going to tell them about this, but I will keep it in mind" coming from both of them, constantly. And of course, there's things like "The Cat Prince" which shows that Liam will write an entire book because of an off-handed comment! Liam and Sam DEFINITELY had real plans for all of those things. I also think they just: 1. didn't get around to showing the Nein, and us, the rest. and 2. no longer need to do petty scams like this, so it doesn't come up as much.
This reminded me of a time a few years ago. I was playing a halfling druid, and we had a halfling rogue in our group. We are going through a dungeon with goblins, and the rogue had an item she could use to disguise herself as pretty much what ever she wanted. So we get into this room, fight 3 goblins and kill them, and are getting ready to go into the next room. I get all of us to stop, and tell our rogue to use the disguise to make herself look like a goblin. As she did that I summoned an owl bear. The plan was to have the owlbear chase her into the next room to distract the other goblins. So she runs into this next room looking like one of the goblins we had killed. Right behind her is the owlbear doing its owlbear thing. The owlbear distracted the other goblins enough to not notice she didn't sound quite right. While the goblins were getting ready to fight the owlbear, our rogue attacks and swiftly kills all 4 of them from behind. Not long after that the owlbear came in handy in the next room where we had to fight a mini-boss.
After this, I can't wait to see Might Nein get their own animated series. Edit: If he didn't take much damage before, he sure took it after she started dragging him off.
