Bruno ❤ is pure brilliance. Finally being played in his rightful position. Although he is outstanding sitting deep in midfield & that’s been required for the good of the team this season, with so many injuries. Let’s hope next season Tonali plays deep in front of the defence allowing Bruno to push further forward to show his magnificence. He loved it. ❤ Absolutely world class player. ❤
fair play to the forest fans in the corner when Bruno scored his first - simply sat there and did'nt do what seems the usual nowadays and verbally abuse the oppositions scorer. Nice to see some punters are'nt just mindless apes.
Ha ha .. I agreed with and liked your comment mate …however I’ve just watched the match cam video and from a different angle they do have a few that as you say behave in what seem to be the normal manner …not as many as most teams tho…
Radio Newcastle with the awld heed John Anderson commentary is great....you two guys add a dramatic audio soundtrack to the action that sky et al can never compete with....i tune into my massive tv with your guys strreamiing audio in the background.....your commentary is perfect lads
Lack of pace in the defense, Burn being the obvious example but in general Forest were very effective on the counter for most of the game. At times the midfield pushes too far forward without having someone sit back, leaving a huge gap which has cost us many goals over the past month or two. Overall we have played well but these issues need to be addressed.
@@ellis-dz4zmagreed, but needs to be noted our midfield would look a lot different at this point if we had Tonali where he’s supposed to be, lying deep in the middle.
Just Remember Unbelievable Goal From Bruno Gumiares 2x & Fabian Schar. Newcastle United Winners Against Nottingham Forest In The City Ground Stadium Score By 2-3.
we need to help miggy get his confidence levels back to how they were last season. i think all the talk around him over january about him not being good enough has tainted his confidence. confidence was his magic card last season. i get that barnes and gordon are flying now but you could see miggy not getting involed and you could hear forest fans chanting muggy when he was on the ball.. bruno played magnificent how did he not get his 10th yellow?
Massive performance from Bruno G. He is the man! A few points: Miraculous recovery from Anthony Gordon. According to the manager he was not even going to make it having not trained the week at all. The manager is either purposely misleading with his communication, or his childish mental play is absolutely no use given how we perform. Maybe the other injured players can also make a miraculous appearance next game like Gordon! Big Dan Burn regularly getting roasted is a sad sight to see. Forrest scored twice just based on the pace of Burn and the linesman rescued us once, and Dubz saved one. Dubravka has no command of his box and coordination with his defenders when the attackers break on goal. I am not expecting the situation to improve but boy do we miss Pope! I think it is too much to expect the manager to even try out different personnel such is his stubbornness. We just pay players to sit on the bench and twiddle their thumbs. Calum Wilson had no shots on goal. Miggy can't time his jumps for a header and missed twice connecting with a ball after Tripps put in good crosses. There is no pace in midfield so its attackers vs defenders every time we lose the ball. Forrest are such poor finishers they could not capitalise. We were there for the taking. Ref was poor, and our players kept expecting him to blow for foul. Lads, once you see him not award a penalty, and not give a 2nd yellow there is no point expecting him to bail you out when you hit the deck. Get on with it and stop being casual when we are defending a one goal lead. Important 3 points but a shaky performance.
Save your energy. People have been asking this for far too long. Last week Howe himself was made aware of the situation. If after that Howe did not even bother to start Tino against Forest, it's futile. It won't happen.
trying to understand why burn was selected ahead of tino after the chasing he got in the reverse fixture & v luton? this is not an anti burns post, far from it, he is well respected at newcastle, but it is unfair to him to be expected to be up against players with express pace...
Also, he’s a centre half not a fullback, he gets exposed every time he plays there because he dives in and gets turned. It’s unfair on Burn to keep playing him there.
Tino must be thoroughly pissed off. Should be at right back. We're spoiled for choice at left back. If I was owner I'd put Eddie Howe on a yellow.@@lil-g4879
Love Dan love his work rate passion but teams are exploiting that LB position and we're leaking goals when we've go livo who's proven he's good enough make the change Eddie
Deserved the win just. As a Forest fan, if any Newcastle fan can say we didn't deserve at least one penalty and I'm sure you're all going to say we didn't. Then you're kidding yourselves. If the decisions had been the other way around, I would still say the same. The blatant push by Anthony Gordon on Elanga was even more of a foul than the Awonyi claim. Anyway, we lost and we carry on fighting for survival, in spite of us probably having points deducted. If we go down, tough luck. One thing is for sure. Apart from you Newcastle fans, we have the best supporters in the Premier League at the moment and we will still fill the City Ground next season, regardless of which division we're in. Good luck for the rest of the season. BTW, I have to be complimentary to you, as I've been married to a Sand Dancer lass from South Shields for 50 years.😘
Good result, bruno class but a bit slow at times, botman was class, i think dubravkas abysmal positioning was exposed on numerous occasions and lets be serious that ends 3-1 newcastle if Tino started over Burn, same mistake Eddie made against luton
