Many thanks to the guys and gals at the Nottingham club for your warm welcome.
Sadly the day didn't go well for me as the Scot developed a leak which we couldn't find.
We made up the day riding and filming the action,we hope you enjoy our efforts.
A bonus for us was that they were using the new track extension,nice for us but not for the guys manning the level crossings in a strong bitterly cold wind..Well done to all.
So sorry you have had to wait so long for this video,but we have had (major) problems loading videos up to Y/T.Hopefully sorted now.
We wish you all a Happy New Year.

I just have a couple of little jobs to finish off then she will be fine again (we hope) time we had a good run with her....This would have happened if we had come to the Pembrey Rally...That would have been a long way for nothing.......Best wishes Chris

Good lord Balrog is a lump! What a beast of a loco! Reckon you could tow a car or two with that. What a lovley turn out of locos

What a great set up they gave there and a fantastic extension to boot. Some amazing locomotives they have, sorry to hear about your Royal Scot, hoping that has been sorted now.

Yes the Scot is sorted now,just need to get it out on track...All the loco's you see on the video are visiting from other railways or belong to the drivers..It's a great track cannot wait for it to open again.....Regards Chris

It's quite an impressive railway, a far cry from the original on the Nottingham ring Road that I used to visit a looong time ago!

Yes it's a nice layout,it will be a lot better now the extension is finished Peter....Never ever visited the old site, but we have been to the Valley road track......Regards Chris

It makes all the difference to the track,at a rough guess it is another 600 yards longer.....Happy New Year Boots......Chris

Hi Graham.Sorted,if I process the film in Mpeg 4 and load it up to Y/T in the old system Y/T Classic in goes on.Very strange! Always a good day to come lot's of nice engines running,sadly not the Scot.I think I have found the problem,just need to try it now.......Best wishes Chris.

@@wooltman Well sounds like you got the YT sorted hope you have the same success with your Scot , i had a nice time at the Essex and East Herts railway not large but the grounds are nicely landscaped it should be as its in a Garden centre lol !!

Many thanks Paul for your kind comment.Doing the video made up for the Scots failure..It's nice when the hard work is appreciated by the viewers...We are already planning our 2020 railway riding trips so keep an eye out for the restart of our adventures..Happy New Year......Chris and Rosie

I'm not sure if the top station will be the main station in the future.But it will be great when it's being used....Ideal for the car park......Best wishes Chris

Cheers Al.It seems that the gauge glass was blocked in the Scot,we then over filled the boiler causing it to prime badly,this then caused a leak from a gasket on top of the cylinders.....Happy New Year to you and Helen x..........Chris and Rosie
