Important notes and fixes: 1. A FAQ has now stated that lethal damage effects don't count towards the critical (3x) threashold !! 2. lucky token is reroll 1 die not all the dice. 3. apparently the familiars don't attach to characters and don't move with them. Waiting for the official FAQ on this rule.
Hey there, perfect tutorial Thank you! Just one more mistake during play... On 23:10 the enemy should og first, whenever enemy and Hero occupy same space on horologium, the enemies have to go first :) Just small rule pick :) Still thank you for the video
Thank you - the in-game tutorial was fine for simple gameplay, but this you have clarified a number of areas that the documentation just isn't user-friendly on.
Fun video! Wondering how characters evolve over the course of a campaign though. Most of Rebecca's turns were move and cast spell, Fatima was move and use bow, sometimes toss a fate die out. Do characters get better/more choices for skills as the game goes on, or do they mostly keep spamming 1 skill? Trying to not watch too many gameplay videos to avoid spoiling the game
thanks for the comment well the game at its core is "declaring atack" based. so you will do that most of the time. Its not a hand management game or dice management game were you pick your action based on an various input. honestly, because the game is suuuuuper short, its weakest part is the characters dont actually evolve or "super" level by endgame.
Nice video. A small but important error on 58:44. The field book report a wrong information. If the enemy target is Rebecca he goes to her also if is not possible make the attack. You can see an example of similar situation on main rule boock on IA chapter. The enemy change target only if is impossible reach it because the path is obstructed. I think this is an important tactic rule. Anyway nice video, i will take a look also at your next (burning map). In my campaing i do it, but could be a possible spoiler for me if you have finish it in a different way...
THANKS ... i guess that's right but feels like an error in the rules. I cant seem how skipping a characters full turn is what the designers had in mind. already the melee characters kind of suck in the game and this rule makes them worse because for skipping full turns ! thanks again, in the future videos ill mention the rule switch
@@thecrabbydice i think they took inspiration from videogame like world of warcraft. On this kind of games the tank must just take the aggro and the crystal cannon of DPS just focus on make damage. I don't know how will be on next missions, i have just finish the 0.2 as in your video, but with powerfull enemy make too much damage could will be a problem for the DPS. A uge attack from enemy can oneshot them i think and if perilium is too high value the target will be the dps
