"Control requesting an air strike of 2 hellfire missiles in the area of operation" "Loud and clear Heavy shield ! Black Dragon, permission to engage" Axian goes brrrrrrr
The damage is great, and a large aoe size, it's just not fast. Definitely worth a shot to try, as she's not too complicated to pick up :) If you care about top fragging, it's not impossible but if you're guild/group has a lot of rangers or casters, prepare to have a lot of your kills stolen because they simply can get the last hit in a lot faster than a Succ Nova (even if you are the one that chunked everyone's health down low to begin with). That said, it's pretty cool when you can get the pets to kill someone! 😈
Thank you! :D Not going to lie, it was pretty rough in node wars/siege when corsair first came out due to so many people trying out the class (though to be fair, too many of any one class is annoying to fight) and it meant that my block would just get shredded nearly instantly :( The last few months its gotten a bit better as people have rolled off the class and I've learned to spot them coming into our push and move away from their mermaid skills when possible to minimize the times I'm getting hit with the block break + debuff. Her playstyle and skills are pretty predictable so that makes it easier to know when to move, though its still challenging to spot them coming in when there is a lot of people in the fight!
6-7 probably. I'm a pretty casual grinder, so for me this class is great because there are not a lot of complicated/fast key inputs that will make my hands sore, but its also more interesting to play than other classes like Guardian (where I'm more likely to fall asleep while grinding). Nova has a lot of good-sized AOEs, decent pack-to-pack mobility and lots of protections to prevent mobs from CC'ing you. She is generally slightly above average at nearly every grind spot, and she has no real issues grinding anywhere. At "easy" spots where you kill things too quick (ex. Polly's Forest), you may run into an issue where Axian (big bat demon) will consume too much of your health too quickly (as he costs HP to use) which means you will run through a lot of HP potions if you're not careful, or if you dont have an infinite potion. In those cases you can just grind without Axian and lose a little bit of dps, but since the spot is easy to begin with its not overly noticeable. Hope that helps!
Some clips are from capped siege which would be 285~288ap/374dp using dual chimera earrings. Other clips would be uncapped gear which is 309~312ap/384 dp :)
