So I play succ nova too and the class gets an enormous amount of hate because of how it's played. I enjoy the class a lot and I don't play cheap. Out of all of the classes, I enjoy succ nova the most. I overall love the gameplay of it and the flashy abilities. I actually kind of like how slow succ is.. idk why. Lots of people always tell me that I'll never level up in pvp because Nova hides behind a shield. I don't hide behind my shield.. why have a shield and NOT useit, tf? lmao!! Since the class is so slow.. i need to think of what I'll do since my minions give me time to think because I mean It's not much succ nova can really do. You can easily get behind me and I'm dead. The class gets too much hate when we definitely have some other stupid classes out there. Keep making these awesome pvp montage vids because it honestly motivates a lot of other Nova users. :D
People say that but people hide behind grabs xD Ive fought so many people and when they dont use grabs or miss they get rekt or run away. Game is unbalanced why wouldnt you play into your strength.
love your videos! I want to go more dp heavy as I love being tankier instead of dealing dmg. The build I ahve in mind is pen kzarka weapon with fallen god and bheg for armor and gloves, blackstar for helmet and gloves. Do you have any tips for a more dp heavy build? I am thinking of using pen pau for large scale pvp as well to work a sa debuffer and ccer instead of a damage dealer. I am the only nova in the guild so kinda need to survive :D
Thanks! :D Nova, in particular succession, scales really well with HP and DR. So while the accuracy of Pau would be good, the DP it gives is basically 'fake' dp as it gives evasion. Unless you are stacking evasion (and based on the gear noted, you are not) you wouldn't feel the benefits of that DP and you'd potentially lose stats in other areas too due to Pau only 1 crystal slot. My build is currently focused on trying to maximize my HP and DR through caphras, crystals and Elvia accessory item reforms. Both of these stats will help your block last longer and help you trade SA's with other classes (still not easy, but more doable with more dp). In terms of specifics, I'd recommend going for dual Narc earrings, trying 2 rebellious crystals in your offhand, hooms in boots and helm and if you node war regularly, aim for the new glorious JIN special evasion crystal (if not, the regular spec evasion crystal is great too). For the elvia reforms, focus on the HP upgrade items for rings and neck, and the DR upgrade item for the belt. All of these seem small but greatly add up to a very noticeable impact on survivability. In my experience, I have ended up getting more kills than when I was an AP focused build simply because I can survive through the damage trade more often.
@@Lyantha thank you a lot! I dont know much about the difference between dp and dr so pau seemed really good with me. I will look more into the crystals and accessories as well. Do you think my armor choices are fine? Fallen god/dim armor, beg gloves and black crystal helmet and boots
@@iceweaver9283 yep! I run fallen god with Bheg’s and Urugon’s, so the blackstar is comparable in terms of it being DR based. Just be sure to weigh that path vs traditional boss gear that you can put caphras in.

@@iceweaver9283 right now I have crescent rings with the HP upgrade, and basi belt with the DR upgrade. Neck is a layten with the hp upgrade. In the future I plan to swap to HP accessories like eye of the ruins and valtarra, and probably get 1 accuracy accessory too.
I still find it fun, as she is overall pretty tanky and has large aoe’s. You’re more reliant on your guildies than other classes though. Since the class reboot, with so many classes having crazy damage it’s harder to survive than it was previously, and with fewer people playing casters means we get less healing… That said, buffs and nerfs will happen every week so there’s no point in rolling to another class just for that. Play what you enjoy! :)

Since I’m not looking to proper cc combo in largescale, but rather put dots, debuffs and damage on the enemy I often use this combo: shift rmb > lmb > hold lmb then try and get back into block to refresh my dp buff before using any of the other command skills off cooldown (ex. Shift+q, shift+f, shift+c) depending on where enemies are around me.
Addons: imgur.com/a/4tF0meu Largescale pvp, there isn't really a set combo as its more important to rotate protected skills (and when fighting an enemy group, using anything unprotected is a huge risk). These would be most of your command skills, and then going back into block to ensure you refresh your dp buff.
I was so sad as a Nova main looking at every tier lists putting Succ Nova at the bottom or low end of playable. Your video got me convinced otherwise! Subbed for some more Nova content! Also, I'm a new player that just finished the Season Pass so I have no idea on how to even begin building Nova..
I found it more challenging to kill people without investing in more accuracy. Try using the accuracy artifacts and light stones and see if that helps!
I applaud the bravery of actually commenting and highlighting to all your clear lack of knowledge against the nova matchup. What would be a real class? A succ zerker that can run around in beast form and wipe entire guilds? How about a succ kuno that is invisible the whole time with almost no counter play? Or maybe a sorc that can spam? Oooh I know, musa for that 1-button kill combo! Please enlighten everyone :)

As to “only played meta classes”, actually watch the videos and you’d know I played succ sorc and those are from a year ago lol 2 mains in the last few years…Clearly I’m a fotm player right? Tell me where does succ nova rank in the top meta?
