Gotta love how in detail they explain why they choose a lot of these shots. I love how Djokovic goes into detail about why he chose Federer for volley, and mentioning the accuracy during certain moments, as well as how Federer doesn’t necessarily care that the return is coming back and just keeping opponents from settling into a rally. I never thought of it that way, so it’s kind of new. The specifics of why they choose such is also helpful. Some don’t need too much explanation like how they chose Delpo and Nadal’s forehands. Those two shots kind of speak for themselves. Also love that they are tennis nerds. Murray being the nerdiest.

Djokovic is in my opinion the most likeable guy on the tour, he is so genuine and down to earth. Such an inspiration.

I have seen the full video of this and I don’t know why Djokovic is not popular people seem to like Federer and Nadal much more. I reckon the lockdown will help Murray make a full recovery from hip surgery 👍🎾

When I watch Murray play before his injuries and surgeries, he was like a wall... Andy is consistent with his groundstrokes, I'm just impressed... and that signature lob? He knows how to apply that at the right time. His netgame is also great.. and his serve is better than Rafa.. his return game is insane! Andy is a complete player man.. I mean a very difficult opponent man..

Physical condition is a tricky category. It really much depends on what aspect you take into account. In terms of physical potential, I would also go for Monfils. He's definitely got the best natural athletic potential. But in terms of physical strength resulting from natural ability and hard work, I would probably go for Djokovic. And I would also argue that Federer is often underrated in that regard. His longevity and some of the most impressive features in his game (footwork, running around the backhand, volley,...) all come down to great physical shape and natural ability.

I've for the most part over the years pretty intensely disliked Novak Djokovic ... but his candor and ability to analyze both himself and his greatest rivals seems to possess an insight that speaks well of him. He'd likely be an excellent commentator in the years after his on-court career is complete.

These guys are practically childhood buddies right...literally 1 week apart by age...grew up playing tennis with each other...so nice to see.

Murray would probably have 10+ majors if he’d played in a different era. 3 and 2 Olympic golds is an amazing career but having to play those other 3 consistently made massive success almost impossible.

I'd go with: Serve - Isner There are a few players with slightly better records on their first serve, but isner can also back up it up with a great second serve, only roger and rafa have a better second serve win percentage which is incredible considering how much weaker isner is once he gets into a rally. Forehand - Federer Rafa's forehand is better on clay, if someone designed the perfect forehand for clay, I think they'd end up with rafa's forehand. However, his forehand is vulnerable on hard and grass, novak and roger have shown that rafa can be exploited on his forehand side. Backhand - Djokovic Andy also has a pretty reliable backhand but I don't think he can match novak. Wawrinka probably has the best offensive backhand when he's in form, it's inconsistent but on his day he seems to hit winners at will off the backhand. Volleys - Federer Imo this one is the hardest to judge because it's hard to compare volleying ability when players have very different tendencies to get up to the net. Some players will take riskier approaches which results in having to play harder volleys or being exposed to getting passed, while others come in when they have a very strong advantage so have easier volleys and don't lose many points. E.g. Nadal has a great win percentage at the net but doesn't make many risky approaches, whereas someone like mischa zverev comes into the net whenever there is a chance to do so which results in a lower win percentage at the net. I went with roger as he seems to have a good balance, he's got great skills at the net, and has a great net win percentage even though he's willing to take more risky approaches than most players. Athleticism/Movement - Monfils/Djokovic There are many players with better footwork than monfils, but I went with monfils because of his speed across the court, he's not technically perfect with his movement but his raw speed is insane. Djokovic's flexibility and agility has been one of his greatest strengths, he doesn't have the speed of monfils but he can hit shots from positions where any other player would be completely off balance. Mental - Djokovic/Nadal Imo rafa's more consistent mentally, novak sometimes has days where he seems to lose his focus and get distracted by external factors. However, novak can seem unbreakable at the biggest moments, when there is a high pressure moment in the biggest matches novak can turn into immovable object.

Mmm.. I have to disagree with Djokovic on the forehand choice, even though probably nobody cares. I'm sure Delpo can hit the forehand more efficiently from a certain position since he is so tall and he is very good with his movement even on the inside out and the inside in, but Roger can hit his forehand from every position possible due to his footwork, anticipation, reflexes and perception. Also he can hit it flat, spin, all types of angles, whipping, lob, dropshot, squash shot, blocking counterattack, half volley and he can take it early consistently unlike anyone else without compromising his position.

Good picks but Novak could have picked himself for Backhand, return (though Murray is tied IMO), and mentality. Mentality I think Novak's peak is higher than Rafa but yes over career, Rafa has always had that bulldog mentality and quick ability to turn up the gas.

Marej je za razliku od nadala i federera uvek imao isti način ponašanja i odnosa prema novaku Za razliku od pomenute dvojice koji su promenili ploču kada su počeli da dobijaju po ušima od novaka... Tako da je po meni licno mnogo bolji lik od njih uopšte. Svaka čast. Čak šta više smatram da su ga povrede sprečile da ima još uspeha u svojoj zavidnoj karijeri. It kind of amazes me that Djoko didn't pick himself on the categories that he clearly dominates. I don't know if he's humble or just an act, but mad respect. I would have chosen Nole for backhand, return and mentality. I'm a Roger fan, but it's a no brainer in their current form.
