Actually,Novak lost in 2012&2014 RG final didn't make me very sad,but lost in 2015 is really something that I can't hold and really make me cry for a long time.I didn't watch the whole live match, when I knew the result I couldn't sleep in that night.I never have the encouragement to watch the match point of that match, even Novak finally won the RG title.
Yeah i remember playing football at that time cos i was 100% sure Novak would win cos he had already beaten Nadal. Our friend came late and said Djokovic won the match(he misheard that djokovic lost) and when i got home my grandfather told me he lost and i started smiling knowing that he is making the joke but he was so serious about it and when i checked and saw that Djokovic lost i was heart broken...But fortunatell he won it a year later so everythink was fine.
Greatest 12 month stretch in Open history: 17 events, 15 finals, 12 wins, 4 slams. But here's what really separates him: 10 of his 12 wins were elite events, all or nearly all top 10 players present (Masters, Tour Finals, Slams). 85-6 but 31-4 against top 10 (previous record for top 10 wins in 12 months was 24). And of course this means nearly 40% of his matches were against top 10 -- incredible he can maintain that intensity. And we could extrapolate 18 month period back to Wimbledon -2014, with similar stats
@@jameswalker6864 you cannot be serius! Laver played in another era and is not comparable with other eras. Laver was a legend but also nole is a legend, the only One that in the last years won 4 slams in a row
@@jameswalker6864 When I look at the matches from late '70's and mid '80's, they all look like light warm up and exercise amateur matches, compared to what Novak is doing nowadays. He is the ultimate warrior and has raised the level of tennis playing to the highest level. Over the years, the quality and level of his tennis playing just went up. He's the one who is setting standards for ultimate tennis playing and who's breaking the boundaries. Not only the number of Grand Slams is valid, for tennis statistics. But, also, all other criterias. And when it comes to that, Novak is all round motherfucker.
Djokovic is such a class act. He finally wins FO after such a struggle and he takes his time to honor Guga by drawing that beautiful heart. Here's hoping he comes to full health and form in 2018.
Was waiting for a video on Novak's heartbreak loss in RG 2012-15, and how he overcame all the obstacle and win RG 2016.. thank you so much.. Novak is amazing.
I also didn't watch the ceremony of 2015 RG final, but I really want to thanks all the audience who gave Novak long time applause, that's some kinds of motivation and a memoriable thing in Novak's life and career,I think.
Djocovic didn't win RG because of nadal and nadal didn't dominate the tour every year because of djocovic we can simply say nadal and djocovic are the two greatest of this sport
I'm a huge fan of Federer, but I also love watching Djokovic's tennis. You, the poster and the video producer, made a pretty emotional video about Nole. The music at first is beautiful, very touching.
I cried after that match even though I was rooting for wawrinka. He stood so tall and gracious in his defeat didn’t break out . That’s what made him so strong mentally. People forget how many times he lost.
That depends how long he'll maintain his current top form! No one can dominate consistently for more than 3-4 years! If Novak can maintain his current form for two more seasons, not counting this one, he will be around 20 slams mark and even if his level drops from that point, he still will be able to win 1 or occasionally 2 slams per season (2 slams if he gets lucky though...its hard winning slams, when you aren't at your best! So in order to win any slam, that isn't your favorite one would have rely on luck as a factor! Easy draw, not too many talented youngsters on the way (lets not forget the age as a factor!), comfortable weather and overall tournament conditions etc...) Right now he doesn't need all that to dominate, but in a 3-4 years time he will need lots of that...
Damn, this is some real quality video. I hope it'll get more views soon. That black and white part with sad music was so much emotional like I was watching it live. Good job, respect from Serbia :)
After the 2015 final I honestly thought he would go down in history as the greatest clay court player ever not to have won Roland Garros. I am so glad that didn't happen.
Come on Djokovic my greatest inspiration plz come back I want to see you always be on top whenever I saw you are winning the trophy ifeel like I am winning the trophy I cross all hurdles. And this is your fan from India.
I'm watching this video almost a year after Novak won this monumental title to complete his Grand Slam haulage. The sad thing is he just went into mental retirement afterwards. All he's won is Toronto Masters since then, and he has been playing between 50% - 80% strength since then. I've not seen him even as high as 90%, which saddens me deeply as a fan who's been following him before he even won his 1st Masters. I hope this clay court season 2017 can relaunch that 'cyborg' player in him again, and he can restart his Slam success again with another Roland Garros title
2015 he should have won that cup unfortunately because of tiredness couldn't do it. The semis was extended due to rain so the next day the final held. But 2016 fantastic comeback to hold the trophy of roland garros
man on that match point and moment when ball hit the net and novak won and the music oh my god it gets me everytime knowing that this was the fall of the great champion. :)
HBK492 You know what?when I read my comment and your reply,I'm even more upset.I never thought things will went like this after RG,never......The way he lost in N.Y,Shanghai&Paris make me very disappionted.
If authorities didn't stop him after the 2016 FO title where he lost 2 years of winning GSs, today in 2019 he would be having 19 of them. Federer would still be at 17 and Rafa at 16. Mark my words. That's dirty politics behind the stage. In 2015/16 he simply put aside the rest of the players and played his own league. Being Serb, he was a pain in somebody's ass.
