Best tennis player who ever played this game, by far. It is incredible what they did to him, and yet, he still managed to win and prove he is the best. I think there is a lesson to learn here for all young players.

Thanks, Novak! You are the man. I am a Mindfulness Instructor here in Brazil 🇧🇷 and my brothers are tennis players. So I just want to show you how grateful I am for you to share to world how important is to be Mindful in every moment, every ball, every “now” 🧘🏻‍♂️✌️

This is what I've learned over the years of what it takes to reach your potential and maybe even scrap the surface of greatness : ( Sorry if I made mistakes,I'm from Yugoslavia ) Accepting whatever happens,happens while doing your best is all you can do really. Practice as much as possible,play when you are in the good,bad or just ok mood but always put as many hours as you can. Play when you are inspired and when you are not. Is not playing,is just part of your life. Is something you do,constantly wheather the results are good or bad. And the clutch moments will start to have a different feeling once you there over and over again. Instead of your play going down you will actually have better focus in those moments. In every game you will subconsciously leave something in the tank for those moments. And always understand that your game is not necceserly your life. Your life doesn't end on the court. You are not defined by your wins and losses. Constantly going forward and giving it all you can in that particular moment is the most important thing you can do to whatever sports/craft/profession you are in. And if you don't love it,don't do it. Only if you love you will be able to push forward. If there is negativity around you,people trying to mess with your process in whatever shape possible just learn to absolutly ignore it. In most cases their voices will slowly start to lower or complelty go away. There is no positivity in you reacting to their negativity. Is all part of the process. Your game will be your best answer you can ever give . In the long run,nothing beats practice and repetition. If you have an idea in your head of what a maximum level of practice is,than you have to scrap that and multiple it by 2x,3x if not even 4 times. Is not just about the hours you put in on daily bases but how many hours you put in in the long run. This week,this month,this year even this decade. You can do something even just for 30 minutes a day,or an hour but if you do it constantly day in and day out for a longer period of time that's when you get your best results while also keeping your sanity. And most important thing. If you don't love it ..don't do it. You will never reach your potential otherwise.

Its not accepting what happens, its understanding what happens. When you truly understand, you can do whatever you want
@armin38822
@armin38822 3 года назад
@@swanandjoshi333 What do you mean by understanding ? Understanding why you lost ? When you have thousands of hours behind you,more often than not you will understand why you lost. But sometimes,even if you do everything by the book,sometimes luck is not on your side and no matter how great you are sometimes you need a bit of luck. When you are great,that's what happens. You make a great play or a great move and it just doesn't happen. No move is 100 % and sometimes you don't have luck in the right moment and that can count as a loss. You are also human and that means that you will not be 100 % focused in every game. You have to understand that sometimes it will simply not be your day.
@swanandjoshi333
@swanandjoshi333 3 года назад
@@armin38822 If just mastering the book would have made you successful, all the teachers would be earning what these players earn. Djokovic himself has said that Roger and Nadal made him better everyday. There's always something to learn and always a way to outperform someone. There is no such thing as luck
@armin38822
@armin38822 3 года назад
@@swanandjoshi333 As a player,in order to be succesful,you don't have to know the entire book word by word. What you need to have is understanding what to do in a certain sitaution on the field. You have to read and react. Read the game and read the opponent and be so comforatble in every sitaution where you can not only react the right way but react fast. And yes,the more you play against great players the better you will be. You have your own great moves but if you play against other great players you start not only to pick some of theri good moves but your sharpen your own at the same time. Your focus is also better when you play against the top dogs and in that focus you find even better plays. Usually the better player wins,but not always. You need some luck. You can't count on luck but sometimes that's gonna be the deciding factor in who wins. When you are going against a great player,both of you are able to one up each other and if you keep going and going and going...sometimes a few lucky bounces can decide teh game. Not always...but sometimes that happens. But you can't react to it. Bad boucnes,lucky bounces...those are all part of the game. You have to keep sharpning your game where you are able to stay infront and those lucky bounces have less and less impact on you. But you will never get to 100 % where luck has no impact on you. That's just how life goes.

@@armin38822 Listen. The better player always wins. You got it wrong. I said that even though you know the entire book, its not enough and its a fact. The first para and the second para is exactly what I am telling you....Man....really just read what I wrote first and then comment.

For me Novak wins against adversity and that alone makes him the greatest. He is almost always playing an away match. As we know in Football even a draw in away matches is counted as a win. Tell me how many has won with a whole stadium booing against him/her. Maybe at times Serena who is another legend. To be down and heckled and then win against that itself makes him the Greatest. He has won away matches his whole life. Not many athletes can say that.
